Hours later their flight landed at LAX. It was around 7 in the morning when they got back to Lisa’s house and they were tired and hungry. Then they realized they had to go to work. After puking several times and taking her prenatal meds she got dressed. She would usually put on some skinny jeans and a tshirt but she felt like crap today so she threw on some sweats and a relaxed fit tee. Hugh came into the bedroom to check on her. She was curled up on the bed sleeping. “Hey. We gotta go to work. I’ll carry you if you want.” He said leaning down next to her. She nodded and he smiled as he lifted her light frame. She snuggled against his chest and breathed in his scent. He sat her in the passenger seat gently and then left her driveway. They arrived at the set 30 minutes later.
“Hey. We’re here.” He whispered brushing a strand of hair away from her face. She just groaned and shifted in her seat. He sighed and picked her up and carried her towards the building. “…good…morning?” Robert said questioningly. “Morning.” Hugh replied happily as he kept on walking towards her dressing room. “Whats wrong with Lisa?” One of her makeup stylists asked as he brought her into her dressing room and laid her down on the couch. “Uh…it’s her time of the month. Not feeling so well.” He replied not sure if he should tell them yet. He wanted to stroke her face but didn’t. “Just make sure she is comfortable.” He said and walked out. He stepped into the readers room to find Katie and David going over some stuff. “Hugh! There’s the father to be.” Katie said smiling. “Where’s the mother to be?” David asked. “That’s why I’m here. She’s not feeling well and she usually feels like this just in the morning and then she’s fine so maybe you could do her scenes later in the afternoon?” He asked. “Of course. No problem. Send my love to her.” Katie said and he nodded.
And with that all cleared up the day went on. Lisa stayed in her dressing room for a while and then came out to watch everyone else shoot. She was memorized by Hugh and the way he transformed into his character. She was feeling so much better now and felt uncomfortable in her baggy seatshirt and sweats. She went back into wardrobe and found her outfit for Cuddy laid out and put it on. She felt 100 times better. Then the ‘snack table’ caught her eye. She grabbed a plate and filled it up with goods and then sat back in a canvas chair and watched them. “How are you feeling?” Hugh asked as he sat in a chair next to her. “Ugh. So much better. When do I shoot?” She asked. “After lunch. We are actually stopping now for lunch.” He told her. “Oh great. I’m starving.” She said putting her plate of food down and getting up making him laugh. “Where are we eating? Your choice.” He told her as they walked out of the building and into the street. “Ummm…I don’t care. Just someplace with nachos.” She said. “…ok then…” He laughed at her.
They were seated in a booth at a little café close to the set. Lisa ordered nachos as she had wanted and Hugh got a burger. “We should tell everyone.” She said. “Everyone as in it’s going to be in the newspaper everyone?” He asked. “No. Everyone as in the cast of House everyone.” She clarified. “Today?” He asked. “…yeah.” She thaught about it and then was sure she wanted them to know. Afterall they were her friends and she saw them everyday. He agreed and then shortly after they left the restraunt. As they stepped into the building they saw absolutley nobody. “Hey. How was lunch?” Omar asked coming from the set area. “Great. Can we see all of you in private for a sec?” Lisa asked. “Uh…yeah. Sure. We’re all at the set if you want us there.” Omar told them. They nodded and went to talk to everyone. “Can we talk to you guys for a sec.” Lisa said as she and Hugh stood infront of them.
They took quick glances at eachother before continuing. “I’m pregnant.” Lisa said all in one breath. Everyone’s eyes lit up in excitement. “…with Hugh’s baby.” She continued. Everyone’s eyes bulged out of their sockets. “W-what?” Jen asked. “Yeah. I don’t need to go through the whole process because you all know how babies are made.” Lisa said as Hugh rubbed her back gently. “Congradulations.” Peter said after a long silence and got up and hugged Lisa and patted Hugh on the back. This started a whole thing and then Jesse and Omar soon congradulated them as well. After those 3 left they looked over to see that Jen, Olivia, and Robert were still standing infront of them. “Tell all.” Jen said grabbing Lisa and sitting her in a chair. Hugh sat in the chair next to her. “What do you want us to tell you?” Hugh asked innocentley. “Let’s start out with how it happened. Not the baby, the sex. How did you two end up having sex in the first place?” Olivia clarified. Hugh and Lisa were starting to get closterphobic from all 3 surrounding them so closley.
“I got her drunk.” Hugh said perfectley serious. “What?!” Jen and Olivia were about to kick the crap out of Hugh. “No he didn’t!” Lisa defended. “Hugh was going drinking for his birthday. He invited me along because I had nothing better to do and seeing as I don’t-didn’t drink I would be able to give him a ride back to his place.” Everyone listened closley to her. “We went drinking. I chose to drink and soon after we were drunk.” She breathed. “And I drove you to your laier of doom!” Robert said facepalming himself. “Robert kindly gave us a ride and well the rest you can figure out. A few days ago I peed on the stick and it read positive. We already told David and Katie and my parents. Now all we need to do is tell the vicious dogs called the media.” She sighed at the thought of telling the whole world. “So, what about Jo?” Robert asked. “She slapped me around too…literally and figurativley. She slapped me and Lisa and then we found out that she was sleeping with the pool boy.” Hugh told him. “Oh. Well congradulations the kid is going to be great.” Robert patted Hugh on the back and gave Lisa a hug. “Kids.” Hugh corrected him. “What?” Olivia, Jen,and Robert asked at the same time. Lisa beemed and smiled. “Twins.” “What?!” Olivia, Jen and Robert said at the same time again. “Yeah.” Hugh reassured them. “That’s even better.” They all congradulated and left.
At that moment Hugh’s cell phone started ringing. He looked at it. It was a reminder that he scheduled to go off it read ‘It’s time’. “Sorry. David needs me alone for some reason.” He lied and gave her a quick kiss. “David.” He got his attention as he was walking. “Yeah.” David was reading a script and didn’t look up as he walked. “When are we starting?” Hugh asked. “In 30 minutes.” David replied as he still read. “Ok. Thanks.” He said and ran off. He ran out of the building and hopped into his car and drove. He drove a short distance to a shop. “Now, you’re sure that this is a good one?” Hugh asked the man there. “I’m absolutley sure.” She man with a strong Italian accent said. “Ok. Thankyou.” Hugh paid the man and drove back to the set as fast as possible. “Hey. There you are. I’ve been looking all over.” Lisa said as he ran in. “Your clothes are in wardrobe all set out for you.” She said and then walked over to set.
“So, Hugh. When you fall you have to act like you’re in pain and Lisa you have to act like you’re worried. Make it believable.” David told them. The scene was between House and Cuddy. At one point House falls because of his pain in his leg. Nothing hard, all simple. “Go!” Someone yelled. Hugh wanted to smirk so bad but he knew he had to play it cool for the scene. The little bulge in his pocket seemed like it was 100 pounds. His palms were sweaty and he was shaking like a leaf. It would have been noticable on camera if he didn’t control himself. After some talk he fell like he was supposed to and she ran to his side like she was supposed to. But the words that came out of his mouth were not the words on the script. Instead of groaning in pain 4 words came out that would change his life forever.
Ok, so you can probably guess what he’s going to ask her. No it’s not ‘Do you like grass?’ or any other ‘Do you like…?’ LOL!!! After this one it is the last chapter. I would love to create a whole life story on them but I have nor the time or patience. Anyway, hope you enjoyed this and the next one should be up pretty soon:)))
