“Kiss me.” His mind spoke for what he had been trying to hide.

Lisa thought she had been hallucinating when he said this. Their eyes met, their entire affection showing. The mercury colored eyes met the deep ocean blue ones. Without noticing Lisa was slowly leaning in, Hugh could feel her breath hitting his chin. Two pairs of dilated pupils expected the other pair to do the next move. Lisa closed her eyes, her lips a mere centimeter away from Hugh’s. Hugh closed his eyes too, expecting for their lips to crash any second. Lisa Put her hand behind his ear and when she made the final push for their lips to meet, Hugh pulled back.
Her eyes snapped open to find Hugh anxious to run, confused she saw the scene of Hugh pushing her hand away and ran to the closest bathroom. She then, by the noises Hugh was making, realized he was puking. She stood up and walked to the bathroom. Hugh had left the door open in a rush and he was kneeling in front of the toilet, with his head almost sinking inside it.
She kneeled next to him. She put a hand on his back and caressed him carefully. He then pulled back and she reached for toilet paper and handed it to him. He wiped his mouth and slowly stood up. She stood up too and put an arm in his shoulder.
“I am concerned about you. Why don’t you stay here tonight? You can sleep in the guest room.” He didn’t respond as he was washing his face in the sink. When he finished, Lisa handed him a towel and he dried his face.
“I don’t want to stay here. I’m just being annoying. Monday we go back to the set and I am sure you just want to rest this-“She tried to hold him by the arm and lead him out of the bathroom which she did successfully.
“ Hugh, it’s not safe for you to go home drunk.” He nodded his head.
“May I have a glass of water?” Lisa nodded as she helped him walk to the kitchen. There she sat him in one of the chairs and started searching for a clean glass. All the party mess was in the kitchen. She finally finished pouring water to the glass and handed it to him, sitting on the chair next to his.
“I am sorry. It must be awful to stand a friend who is so drunk.” He faced her. She sweetly smiled at him. It was indeed hard to see that the only way Hugh wanted to kiss Lisa was with some alcohol over his system.
“It’s ok. I am used to watch my friends like this.”
“Nevertheless I am really sorry.” She nodded her head and crossed her arms.
“Why? Why did you get so drunk?” His eyes shoot pain again.
“I would rather not talk about it.”
“You can trust me with anything.”
“I know.” He took his glass and took a sip. He almost spitted it out.
“Yuck! I taste like puke."
Lisa giggled and offered, “You could brush your teeth I have spare toothbrushes.”
“Thank you.”
“You have nothing to thank me for.” She stood up but Hugh caught her arm, making her to turn around.
“No, Lisa. Thank you.” She smiled and walked out of the kitchen. If he had not puke, they would have kissed. Lisa sighed at the thought.

When Lisa came back to the kitchen, she had change into her pajama short and an old top. Hugh looked up and down her body, perfect. No other word to describe it.
“Here.” She handed him a tooth brush, still on its box. He nodded his head and stood up, too quickly so he almost fell down but Lisa grabbed his arm and passed it across her back to help Hugh walk.
She helped him to get up the stairs. When they finally made it to the guest room she undid the bed for him as he went to the bathroom. He came back. Lisa pointed to his bed and he sat on top of it. Lisa began making her way out of the room.
“Lisa?” Hugh called.
“Yeah?”
“Would you sleep with me?” Lisa stared in astonishment. Hugh shook his head.
“Not in that way, just next to me. I don’t want to sleep alone, not tonight.” Lisa nodded noticing there was something really hurting him but she doubt Hugh wouldn’t try anything, after all he had drunk more than 7 vodka shots, plus almost a complete bottle of wine in the party.
She sat in the opposite side of the bed and get into the bed. She could feel how he was moving, probably undressing since she heard a zipper and the smack from when his shoes hit the floor.
“Goodnight, Hugh.” She closed her eyes.
“Lisa?” She turned around to face him. He looked so beautiful, he had no shirt on and the moon light made his eyes shin in a dreamy way.
“What’s up?” She asked. Hugh began laughing. She didn’t understand why but she laughed along with him too. He stopped and stared at the beauty of Lisa’s smile.
“Lisa?”
“Yeah?”
“You haven’t complete your dare.” Her smile soon faded as Hugh put his right hand in her cheek bringing her closer. Lisa closed her eyes and felt it. His lips put a small peck in her lips…
