STARLY! STARLY! STARLY! My alarm clock goes off. "AHHHH!" I wake up with a scream. "Pip?" My Piplup asks. "Oh, I'm sorry Piplup. I forgot I set this thing today." I click the top of the Starly Alarm Clock's head and it ticks. YAAAAAWWWWNNN! Wow. What a yawn! "Might as well get ready for high school. Again." I change into my regular outfit for school and walk downstairs.
"Good morning, Dawn!" Mom greets me. She's in the kitchen which is in the corner of the living room. "Morning mom!" Hey, that rhymed! Haha! "Ready for school?" Uhhh...DUH! "Yup!" My mom sets her coffee on the dining table with a CLINK! "Well, well, well. You're in a better mood than usual. Did anything special happen last night with Paul?" Noooo... "Yeah!" I grab a bowl full of Cheerios cereal and set it on the far side of the table. "Paul and I had our first-" "Kiss?" How did mom know about our first kiss? "Dawn, every girl that says: 'First,' it means they had their first kiss. That happened to your father and I." I take a spoonful of my Cheerios. "Really?" I ask. "Yes." VVVRRROOOOOMM! What time is it? "I gotta go!" I take my bag full of homework and books and I dash out the door.
"Whew! I made it!" I take a seat into the bus and pull my favorite book out. Challenger by the Elite Four Shauntal. The bus makes a stop after five minutes. "Hi Dawn!" Kenny? "Good morning Kenny!" I greet my childhood friend with brown hair and black eyes. "It's been a while since you've been on this bus." "Yeahhhh..." Kenny says. "So, what's your excuse?" I tease him. "Barry said I had to stop going to his house after school so I came back to this bus! What's up with you and Paul?" I put my book down. "What do you mean?" "Just...in general." "Why should I tell you? Is it your business or something?" I say to him. Kenny blushes in embarrassment and rubs his head nervously. "Well, I just want to find out what's up between you two. That's all." "Oh." I blink at his words. "I really really like him!" I exclaim. "Hm." Kenny mumbles. "What do you mean by 'Hm'?" "I mean, the word 'like' is for a friend. Which means you don't 'love' him!" I blush and giggle nervously. "Oh, well, I...don't love him but he is my boyfriend!" I respond. "I guess..." Oh Kenny. You're such a nosy friend!
