Singer IU revealed that she was inspired for one song by a picture drawn by Sulli!

During her commemorative talk event 'CHAT-SHOW' on October 23 for her new mini-album, IU stated regarding one of her new songs, "Red Queen," "There's a drawing that became the motif. As soon as I saw that picture, I thought of a red queen. It's a drawing that is even in the album.

"To tell the truth, that drawing is one that my friend Sulli drew for me, and Sulli draws well. That's why I visited Sulli's house, saw that picture, thought it fit the lyrics I was thinking of, and borrowed that picture to write [the song]."

That's pretty cool!

Singer and actress IU is the cover girl for fashion magazine CeCi‘s 21st anniversary commemorative issue.

The photo shoot brings out both IU’s cute and womanly side as she models transitional pieces just in time for summer’s final farewell and the inauguration of fall.

One of the cuts, taken along the streets of Hong Kong, is especially striking as she strikes a pose in bunny ears against a backdrop of reddish and neon lights.

She was reportedly heavily involved with the creative process on set, monitoring each cut and discussing her ideas with the editor and photographer.

Singer IU made a surprise appearance at a band Hyukoh show on August 1.

During a low-key Hyukoh show held in a cafe located in Hongdae, IU surprised everyone by coming up to the stage without any notice.

During her appearance, she played the acoustic guitar and sang Lee Moon Sae‘s “Old Love.” She also performed a duet with Hyukoh’s frontman Oh Hyuk, singing the band’s hit song “Gondry.”

IU has previously voiced that she was a huge fan of the band, posting a picture of herself holding the band’s album to her Instagram account. They got acquainted recently as they both participated in “Infinity Challenge‘s” 2015 Music Festival.
