You would be suprised how packing a 7 year olds clothes can be so much fun. Maybe it's because of the whole imprinting thing but either way I took the opertunity fot Nessie and me to be alone.
"Jake?" she asked.
"Yeah Nessie?"
"Can you come here for a second?" I was already up and headed towards her big closet wich she could easily get lost in. Alice and Blondie restocks it every week. Maybe thats what Renesmee wanted, is to help her get out. I laughed at the thought while trying to get my body threw the different racks. It wasn't going so well and apparantley she noticed. Out of no where Nessie camed flying out of the top shelf and I held my arms open at just the right time. "Gotcha" I told her, not really sure of my emotion that was on my face. She just giggled and I went over to the bed and sat her down.
"Jake will you help me?" she asked. How could I say no to that cute little face? But either way I made it look like I was thinking about it.
"Well.. I don't know" I began. It didn't look like she was going to buy that to well, so I just asked her what was wrong. She looked up at me with her big brown eyes,kinda like she was stalling or hiding something. "If your not going to tell me I will just tickle it out of you." I said smiling playfully.
"I'll never give in to that" she added and she ran right past me and out the window. Wow, I thought to myself. I got up and chased after her, following her scent to the little tree house in the cullen's back yard. What could she be wanting to tell me so bad that she had to stall? Of course I knew why she ran, Nessie's ticklish so thats a big threat to a 7 year old. I smiled and climbed up the ladder into the little house. There I found her sitting in a corner looking so depressed. "Nessie?" I began, my voice taken back. "Nessie are you ok?" What was wrong with her?! I shouted in my head. She was so happy a moment ago and now it's like shes another person. "Whats wrong?" I continued with no trace of humor in my voice. Something was going on that she didn't want to tell me. Something that was bad. Before I knew what was happening she got up and ran into my arms and began to cry. Ok now whats going on ? I did the only thing I knew what to do at that moment; I cradeled her body in my arms with her head on my chest. I couldn't break my stare at the crushed emotion on her face.
