When I woke up at Christina's house, I whipped out my phone and dialed Jake's number. "Hello?" Jacob's rough voice answered when he picked up. "Jake. It's Nessie. I'm at Christina's. How is the pack?" I responded in my singsong voice. "They're good. Paul got angry at your dad last night, they were hunting and Emmett pushed Edward on our land. Paul got all defensive, which made Bells defensive, which mad Lea defensive. It was not pretty." He snorted. *Beep beep beep* "Hold on, Jake. I have a call waiting." I switched calls. "Hello?" I said. "Renesmee? It's Daddy Edward. You need to come home. Now. I have something to tell you." Daddy Edward responded. I hung up both ends of the phone, then said to Christina, "Christina, I have to go. My dad wants me home." "Ok, see ya." Christina answered. I called Jake and asked him to pick me up. I was 17 now, and already married. I was the same age as Jake, so I wondered what the surprise was. I heard Jake's convertable in the distance.

I raced down Christina's road on my way to pick up Nessie. She pranced out of Christina's house and hopped into the passenger seat of the car. "Hey, Ness. What's up?" I asked when she came in. "Daddy Edward called saying I had to come home immediatly." She explained while I hit the accelerator. "Ok, then." I leaned over and pecked her on the cheek. She blushed a ruby red. "You know, your mother used to do the exact same thing, before she became a vampire." I said, touching her cheek lightly. "Watch yourself, dog." She said teasingly. We arrive at the tiny cottage where Edward and Bella were already racing towards the car. Nessie and I hopped out of the car. She raced towards Edward saying, "Daddy Edward, what's wrong?" "I'd like to speak to Jacob for a minute, please." He said in an ice hard voice. I walked towards him, and they brought me into the tiny stone cottage.
