"yes, everything is just fine" i lied, grabbing my bag and swinging it over my shoulder,

The bell signalling lunch was over had just rung and i need to to leave before anybody found out i needed counselling. No one knew, not even cody and even if he did, i couldn't trust him to not tell Chelsi. I had been in the principal office, numerous times because of my suspicious behaviour of not interacting with others. They felt that something was definately wrong and if that problem was not dealt with it would lead to depression, then suicide. Chelsi would have been over joyed to hear this.

School went by fast and soon enough, I was heading on my way to the parking lot to meet up with my brother. On the way there, I had run head to head with Nick in the busy hallway, but we just continued, walking past each other without a simple hello.
No matter what, I would never forget the wonderful times we shared from diapers. I would never forget that he was and would always be my best friend.

From where I was standing, I could see that Cody would not be ready for now because he was talking with his yuck of a girlfriend. I couldnt see what my brother had seen her; she was every thing he was not. Luckily, she had not been successful in changing him from his old habits.
I sat under the old oak tree just a bit from them; took out a pencil and paper and started drawing. I simply loved drawing. It was the only thing that I could relate to.

I didnt care if he was talking to his girlfriend. The most important thing right now was to be as far away as I could get from Nick. I was getting too attached to him, and in my situation, that was a bad thing.
