Alcon Entertainment and Syncopy in association with Evolutionary Pictures and Straight Up Films are in pre-production on the epic Warner Bros. Pictures sci-fi thriller feature film "Transcendence". Shooting will take place in Los Angeles and Boston beginning in April, 2013. Two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner and four-time Casting Society of America Artios Award winner John Papsidera is casting the film's starring and co-starring roles in Los Angeles. Additional principal actor casting will be taking place in Boston. The background performers and stand-ins will be cast locally in Boston. Experienced film crew members and production staff are also being hired locally in Massachusetts. "Transcendence" follows a scientist who uploads his brain into a supercomputer after he's assassinated by terrorists.

Starring in "Transcendence" is the superlatively talented and incalculably popular actor, film producer, and musician Johnny Depp playing the role of Will. This will be the first of two films that Depp will shoot back-to-back, the other being a crime thriller called "Black Mass" also shooting in Boston. Only after completion on these two films, would Depp concentrate on reprising Captain Jack Sparrow in Walt Disney Pictures "Pirates of the Caribbean 5". Johnny Depp's staggering acting accomplishments include being nominated for three Academy Awards, ten Golden Globe Award nominations with one win, and four Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations with a win.

Details on how talent can submit for acting roles, and registration information for extras can be found on the following casting post:

Just came back from the earliest showing I could get of "The Lone Ranger"! In a few words... IT. WAS. BREATHTAKING. I reserved special seats, called D-Box seats (not sure if they have them in your area), but they are basically seats that move with the motion in the movie. For example, if the shot showed men on horses, your seat would bounce up and down (not too severely though). The seats were expensive, yes ($18.25 US a ticket), but they were definitely worth it. I could feel my heart pounding in several train sequences. So, if you can, I would recommend getting D-Box seats.

As per usual,...

Johnny Depp is embracing his "Lone Ranger" character's culture. The actor was made an honorary member of the Comanche tribe in a ceremony on May 16.
Comanche Nation tribal member LaDonna Harris told the Associated Press on May 22 that the tribal chairman presented Depp with a proclamation at her Albuquerque home. According to Harris, the Comanche adoption tradition means she now considers Depp her son.

The 48-year-old actor is currently in New Mexico, shooting the film in which he plays sidekick Tonto in the adaptation of the television series "Lone Ranger." Armie Hammer plays the titular "Ranger"...

Dear Johnny...
I think I speak on behalf of all Deppheads when I say that a few days we feel very sad
to hear bad news about you and Vanessa. We have learned to know and to love you for who you are.
The greatest actor of the last times, but especially a humble, kind and helpful person. So a man who remained himself.
We love you with your faults and your quality. We know that you're not perfect, nobody is perfect! But this makes you a normal man.
We are all worried about your story with Vanessa, yes, because she is part of us. You're a perfect couple but like any couple, you also have your problems....

Here are some of the greatest things he's ever done (off-screen). Some of these Johnny Depp stories are hard to believe ,yet they are all amazing and sound exactly like the kind of awesome thing the most eccentric celebrity (that we actually like) would do. From surprising a little girl at her school, to stopping a mugging with a single look, to saving a horse he rode in a movie, here are the greatest (true) Johnny Depp stories.

Johnny Depp does not want to recite Sweeney Todd on Broadway, because he hasn't particularly enjoyed her experience as a singer. The star of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street , Johnny Depp , will disappoint his fans, who hoped to see him back on Broadway, insisting that he will do when it will be cold in hell. The actor made his first experience as a singer on the big screen in the film adaptation of the musical by Steven Sondheim, about a barber murderess. But he found this experience quite traumatic, and does not plan to try again very soon. He said: "When it will be cold in hell. I'm flattered, but, no, I think that singing is not for me. "

Johnny Depp’s missus has nixed his shower scene with that home-wrecking hussy, Angelina Jolie.

Vanessa Paradis, 37, feels threatened by the man-stealing tart, reports England’s The Daily Mail.

“That skank,” mutters Louise Nesbitt, baby blues flashing.

Jeez, Louise, that’s no way to talk about Angelina.

“No, I mean Vanessa.

“I like to clip out unflattering photos of her from the tabloids. She’s that, yuck, waif-y Kate Moss type.”...
