Ok so I end one story...just to start another?? I think I have a problem ;)

It was a typical Friday night, I had just dropped Bella off at her house for the night...or so her father thought. I had a hour to waste while she made dinner and got ready for bed, I was just about to drive around town when my phone rang.
"Edward, could you come home please?" Alice asked, probably knowing the answer before she called.
"Why? What's going on?" I asked, hoping I didn't have to go home.
"Please just come home, and no listening to our thoughts." She said...I could almost hear her sticking her tongue out at me over the phone.
"Alice, I have a hour before I can go back to Bella." I started to say before she interrupted.
"I know, please just come home for a few minutes. Ummm Esme misses you....don't tell her I said anything please."
"Fine. I'll be there in a minute...wait why am I not allowed to hear anyone's thoughts?" I asked.
"Nevermind. Just try not to ruin this." She said as she ended the call.
"RUDE." I said out loud, turning the car around in the middle of town to head back to the house.
I figured that Alice was probably telling the truth, I mean I hadn't been around the house very much lately. It seemed like my day was either spent in school, or was spent with Bella...I would rather spend time with her, but she didn't like to miss school so I went.
I guess I hadn't been spending enough time around the house, I knew that Esme would miss me. I knew that she was overjoyed that I had finally found someone, but at the same time she missed me and I owed it to her to be there tonight.
As I turned into the drive I shut the lights off, not wanting to give them any more clue that I was coming.....not that I could fool a entire house full of our kind.
I shut my car off and started walking up to the house when I saw Emmett sitting on the stirs whistling quietly. I quickly scanned his thoughts and found that he was enjoying himself, he was happy I was home and that he would never admit it out loud but he missed me a bit.
"Ahhh thanks Emmett." I said as I smiled at him.
"Any time. NOW....I promised to do this so please don't argue...unless you want to wrestle with me?" He said as he stood up and walked over to me, a piece of cloth wrapped in his hands.
"What..." I said as I backed away from him.
"Just play along...you know they sent me because I wouldn't give this away. Just go with it, or....we could wrestle." He said as he dove at me.
I let him hit me, falling to the ground. I knew he was going to try to pin me to the ground, so I used his own stregnth to turn us so that I was pinning his shoulders to the ground. I started laughing as he growled deeply...I was so lost in laughter when he reached up and side armed me, throwing me onto the ground. He was above me, his arms holding me to the ground. A obsenity escaped my lips as he started laughing.
"Thanks!! That was more fun then I've had in a month." He said as he jumped to his feet.
"Oh..I'll have to mention that to Rose." I said as I stood up, brushing the bracken off my pants.
"I....well...I didn't mean that kind of fun." He said as he wiggled his eyebrows at me.
"Stop thinking about it...that's it...I'm leaving." I said as I started to turn.
He instantly stopped thinking about Rosalie, his mind once again clear of any thoughts. I respected him for this, I wished that I could just shut my mind off whenever I wanted to.
"Please just come in the house. Just let me blindfold you and go in...be suprised." He said as he held up the blindfold.
I saw a flash in his thoughts, Esme and Alice..planning a surprise birthday party for me. Was it really my birthday? Why were we celebrating it, we stopped doing that a long time ago.
"Alright Emmett...I'll play along." I said as I laughed.
"Thank you, I wouldn't want to face the wrath of the women in this family." He said as he fake shivered, handing me the blindfold.
I completely agreed with him, I don't think I would want to face the wrath of Rosalie, Esme and Alice if they were mad...so I put the blindfold on, leaving me blind.
Emmett's arm grabbed my upper arm and pulled me up the stairs, as we reached the door he leaned down and whispered. "Just play along, act surprised...or this could be a very long night."
I laughed and nodded as he opened the door, ushering me through the door. I instantly smelt candles...vanilla candles and something else I couldn't recognize. I could hear everyone in the room but did my best to ignore their thoughts.
"Alright Emmett." Alice called as she ran over and stood next to me, taking my hand in hers.
Emmett pulled the blindfold off to reveal the entire family standing around staring at me. Once I opened my eyes I looked down and saw Alice bouncing next to me...and I fought the urge to laugh at her.
"SURPRISE!!!" She yelled as she pulled me into the living room.
"We tried Edward, we really tried." Carlisle said as he thought about trying to keep Alice in check. Not allowing her to go overboard with the party...and failing.
"Thanks for trying." I said as I reached out and hugged him.
"Oh, Edward." Esme said as she reached over and hugged me tightly. "I've missed you, you promised not to go away after Italy..and I..." She cut herself off, shaking her head.
"I miss you too Esme." I said as I kissed her cheek softly.
"Don't do it again." She said as she squinted at me.
"Yes ma'am." I said as I smiled down at her.
I felt a hand slap my back, knocking me forward a step. "Happy Birthday...and thanks for wrestling." Emmett said as he went to stand by Roslie who smiled at me.
"Happy Birthday." She said as she smiled at me.
"Thanks Rose." I said as I smiled at her.
Jasper came over and stood next to Alice, his arm wrapping around her...pulling her close against his body. "Happy birthday." He said as he looked at me.
"Thanks." I said as I walked over to sit on the couch. "You didn't invite Bella?" I asked.
"No...I did. I thought she was coming with you..that was the plan." Alice said as she looked at me.
Suddenly her face went blank, Jasper catching her as she sank to her knees. I stood up as I saw what she saw, my throat closing in fear. Everyone was looking at me to Alice and back.
"What is it?" Jasper asked as he knelt, holding Alice in his arms.
"Edward!?" Carlisle cried as I sank to my knees, my mouth opened in a silent scream.
"What's going on!?" Rosalie said as she came to stand next to me.
"EDWARD!!!!" Alice screamed as her eyes snapped open.
"I have to go." I said as I tried standing, Carlisle catching me when I started to fall.
