On the occasion of the release of her last book in Italy we interviewed Kathy Reichs, whose life inspired the tv series Bones.

Q. What's been the best moment of your career as an author?

My first book, without a doubt. The starting point, creating the characters, the setting...That was my blossom time, the heart of everything. For the rest, I write a book per year so I have to be creative. What's important to me is to carve out my spaces so that I can be creative though my professional commitments that absorb me and for which I travel a lot.
