Witch costume and Samurai helmet from 47 Ronin on display...

47 Ronin was inspired by the real-life tale of a group of masterless samurai who avenged the death of their lord in 18th century Japan. Many movies have been made inspired by this legend, but this box office flop stars Keanu Reeves as the adopted \'Kai\' who is taken in by the benevolent \'Lord Asano\' and joins with a band of samurai to avenge the death and dishonour of the master at the ruthless \'Lord Kira\'.

Original Witch costume worn by Kinko KiKuchi in 47 Ronin

\'Witch\' is a Japanese sorceress with different colour eyes played by Rinko Kikuchi, who serves the scheming Lord Kira. You can\'t really see from the front of this flowing green silk dress, but it\'s a backless kimono to show off the character\'s back tattoo.

Penny Rose was Costume Designer on this Japanese historical epic directed by Carl Rinsch, and you can also see her costume work in Disney\'s The Lone Ranger, the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise and the Prince of Persia movie adaptation, to name but a few projects.

Samurai helmet worn by Keanu Reeves as Kai in 47 Ronin

Keanu Reeves wears this helmet from the feudal Japan period and it\'s a shame that the rest of the Samurai armour wasn\'t on display too (but maybe it will be in the future).

47 Ronin were photographed on display at Universal Studios Hollywood\'s ever-changing NBC Universal Experience archive exhibit on October 9, 2014.
