Chapter 2: Success and Failure
"Magnuson!" Kick smiled and waved at the older blonde male. "Where ya been man?" he high-fived him. Gunther looked around Kick to find Kendal, smiling and giggling at the counter. "what's her problem?" he whispered, motioning to her. Kick looked back" I think she had one too many heavy drinks." he looped his fingers around in the air near his ear. "ah." Gunther nodded and followed Kick up the grand staircase.
"So Gunther..." he looked back at Kick expectantly. He was unpacking, they were to share rooms. "married? Kids?" "Neither." Kick dropped his case. "really?! I thought you would have settled down by now." Gunther laughed half-heartedly. "well.." he continued "I hears Kendal's got three kids, is married to a police officer, and is a newspaper editor." The large blonde cackled "that's crazy! Who would put up with her?!" "apparently Nobody, because from the looks of things, she's a heavy drinker." Gunther tossed his empty case under the paisley-sheeted bed.
"Who missed me?!" a feminine voice called at the base of the mahogany staircase. "Scarlett! Hey girl!" Kendal hung over her shoulder, alcohol rolling off her breath. She was dressed in a pair of dark blue cargo pants and a white tank, with a button up black shirt over it. Her red hair had become darker and much longer. Gunther, accompanied by Kick, came down the stairs. Gunther straightened his flannel shirt, and moss green shorts. "hey! Didn't think you would show." she shrugged and lifted her roll-on case up the first stair. "I had nothing else to occupy myself with." he smiled and lept over to her side. "let me help ya." "thanks." she happily acquiesced. The front door clicked open, and in waltzed a new girl. Gunther's jaw practically hit the floor.

Kick and Gunther were in the car with Brianna and Brad, on their way to a campsite surrounded by the wilderness.
"Just a few more hours, kids!" Denise said, excited. Kick sighed, not that excited about where they were going.
Gunther patted Kick on the back. "What's wrong, Kick?"
"Remember last time?...... It's just........ I don't want to go through all that again. Plus, you almost died and you don't want that to happen, right?"
"Of cour-"
"This time stay away from high up ledges, okay?"
"Sure." Gunther was a little worried now. What IF something happened to himself or Kick? Gunther knew he would have to be more careful than usual. For some strange reason, it seemed liked going on a road trip wasn't the only thing Kick was stressed out about. He wanted to know more.
"Hold on guys. We're almost there. We have to stop for gas." Harry said with a booming voice.

Chapter 6 : Monster Jam Menace
The roar was overwhelming, the smell, overpowering, just hearing the trucks gave her the chills. She smoothed her hand up her goose bumped arms. She looked down to find Kendal, kicked back in her chair, reading. She shrugged and threw her arms in the air with a bellow. Kick nudged her ribcage " T-shirt cannon!" she turned back to the crowd, hands waving. "kick!" he looked down at her evil face. " put me on your shoulders!" he hoisted her up, surprisingly light. "I want that shirt!!!!" she wailed and went overboard, she pulled up her shirt to reveal her bare chest. Kick was oblivious, that is, until he looked at the monitor.
Jessica marched in the parking lot, happy with her free tee, and autographs above each breast. "You're too much fun." Gunther rubbed the back of his head.

3 DAYS LATER...
"Welcome home, Gunther." Suprisingly, he slowly got out of the car. His parents were waiting for him.
"Why are you so sad?"Helga and Magnuson asked in unison.
"Kick....... Kick... Died." They looked at him in horror. Helga passed out.
Denise ran out of the house crying, and Harold came out with a depressed look on his face.
Morgana started crying a little too.
While carrying Kick, she said "I can see you heard about the sad news. I found Kick and Gunther in a tent on the side of a road. Kick was knocked out. Not even Gunther knows how or why this happened."
This made Denise cry even harder.
"I can't believe that........." She was so upset and shocked she couldn't even finish a whole sentence.
"We're gonna have a funeral. This Sunday. You better not be late or I'll be late to your funeral." Denise said with a serious voice, still crying. Gunther was still crying after 30 minutes. He was that upset about losing his best friend.
