"HYAAAAHHH!" Yelled Knuckles the Echidna as he was destroying his punching bag. Grains of sand trickled down the tear in the fabric. He was breathing heavily. He never punched this hard before. The only times Knuckles did this was because something was bugging him or he was really pissed out. He grunted, wiped his sweat off with his towel embroidered with his initials: K.E. Then a thought striker his mind, was he getting stronger? He didn't feel pissed out at anyone or bugged. Knuckles grinned to himself, "Why don't I test out my new strength on Vector? Maybe Julie-Su? No... Tikal maybe?" That's when a perfect thought creeped into Knuckles' mind. Sonic.
Sonic and Tails we're beating up a bunch of Eggman's robots. "You're too slow!" Sonic said smiling aquardly. Tails was hitting the robots with his two....erm...tails, and making huge crevices into the steel wall. "Careful with that!" Said Eggman while deploying robots from his Egg Carrier," This facility wasn't cheap to build you know! Some of us have jobs unlike you sorry rapscallions!" Tails sighed," Eggman, you have no idea how hard it is to deal with your robots. It's annoying! You think we have "fun" dealing with these buckets of bolts? The only one who has fun destroying your things is Sonic! I mean-just look at him! He acts all Pippy Longstockings every 5 goddamn seconds!" Sonic was happily destroying Eggman's robots with his trademark spin move attack, while polishing his prized red running shoes. That's when a crash was heard on the upper floor of the Egg Carrier.
"Where's that self-righteous little piece of--" Knuckles was interrupted by tons of egg robots circling him with twin rifles. "These idiots probably don't even know how to shoot!" He thought, a weird smile creeping around his features. He punched them with his hardcore fists, breaking right through the iron Eggman used to build the pieces of bolts. Knuckles was running on the interior floor of the carrier, spotting Eggman's face on every wall. "This guy needs to get out more." He said. Knuckles arrived at an elevator labeled: "ROBOTS ARE PROHIBITED TO USE. ONLY EGGMAN IS ALLOWED. ANYONE CAUGHT RIDING THE EGGVATOR IS GOING TO GET SEVERELY HURT." Knuckles chuckled to himself,"He thinks I'm gonna listen? That annoying omelet. I might as well beat him while busting Sonic's blue blurry behind."
Sonic stopped bashing Eggman's robots for a second to figure out what was going on. "Hey Eggster! Was this planned as a little surprise for me?" Said Sonic goofily. Tails smacked his head and thought,"He's such an annoying blue idiot. He knows their could be danger on the other floor." Egg man removed his goggles from his bald head and sighed. The trio were trying to figure out what that noise was at the top floor. Sonic wasn't laughing anymore. In fact he was nibbling on his gloves nervously. "A bit antsy are we?" Said Eggman with a smirk. "S-S-S-S-Shut up... I ain't scared a bit. You should be scared with all your bots stuck with whoever's there." Eggman didn't show any sign of remorse. He shrugged his shoulders and said," I could just make more."
Knuckles took the elevator down to the floor where the heroes and villain were waiting. A huge turquoise beady eyed rhino guard stood in the middle of the door required to enter. It spotted Knuckles and fired a series of missiles directly toward him. Knuckles didn't show no sign of fear, he dodged all the missiles, and repelled a few of them. " Errorrrr.....Malfunctioning.... " the robot said, crumbling into pieces of debris before Knuckles' feet. "Now how the hell am I gonna get this godforsaken door open?" The hero said, rubbing a hand on his chin. He examined the area, checking for clues. Boy, he wished he had Tails right now. He would've opened this door in a nanosecond. That's when Knuckles stepped on a ruby red tile and a button appeared. He pressed it and the door opened, revealing a frightened Sonic inside." Well well well...." Said Knuckles.
Eggman's eyes twitched. This whole ruckus was caused by that little annoying echidna? Tails' eyes were wide open, his jaw dropping. Sonic gawked and placed his hands on his mouth. "Surprised to see me?" Said the echidna with a triumphant smile. Eggman slammed his hands on the counter controls and yelled," Metal Sonic! Get your blue metal butt down here! Or I'll make you wish you were never ever created!" Then, a robot copy of Sonic appeared with a eerie glow to it." Unknown lifeforms in carrier. Initiating attack." Metal Sonic charged up the twin lasers on his back and hit Knuckles. Hard. Tails yelped and ran behind Sonic to take cover. Sonic shrieked loudly," How am I gonna beat this piece of s***???" Tails furiously shook his head," I dunno!!!" Knuckles rubbed his stomach, then shook off the blow like it was nothing. " Alright you bucket of bolts, you're gonna be in 2040's history book!"
The battle was long and tiring. Knuckles was getting hit left and right, and Metal Sonic had dents all over his body. "Damage rate over 70%. Fighting style Z programmed. Loading complete. Prepare to die." Knuckles gaped at the transformation. Metal Sonic was at least 90% stronger than him now. Knuckles closed his eyes and prayed that some unknown power would give him strength, like in all movies. Then Knuckles remembered: he had to get agitated. Then, he transformed into Hyper Knuckles. He felt a rush of power in his brain. He yelled and gave Metal Sonic a Falcon Punch!
"NOOOO!!!!" Eggman howled. "You're gonna pay! Paaaayyyyy!!!" Sonic got the trio out of the carrier just before it exploded. "You guys okay?" Said Sonic, giving each friend a little shake. "Yea..." Said Knuckles, clearly a little woozy. When the trio arrived on the ground, Knuckles punched Sonic straight in his face. "Cool!" Said Tails clapping.
"What was that for?" Screamed Sonic.
" For being a complete showoff." Said Knuckles with a smirk.
