I would begin this article with a lot of frustrated screaming, but I cannot record with a microphone and put it here so I shall have to simply tell you that I would. Now then, the subject I am probably going to ramble on about: N and the opinions surrounding this character. I hope all three of the people who might just read this will be entertained. I apologize in advance for any digressing at all.
N scares me yet I find him oddly attractive. Whenever I complete one of the gyms and N's just outside waiting I never know if I want Touya to slap him or kiss him. It's not because he's creepy or because he stalks Touko and Touya (You may know them as Hilda and Hilbert. I for one dislike these names and prefer to call them Touko and Touya as they're called in Japan.) It's the fact that there are people out there that think like N *cough*PETA*cough*. I'm guessing this is common though. Maybe not, but if it is I don't want to have people leaving rude comments pointing out that I've said nothing new. Now that my own opinions on N said, I'll move on to what I really wanted to talk about.
There are two main opinions coming from my friends. The first is: N is incredibly attractive. I liked having him around in the game. He's a great character. The second opinion is: N is a creepy stalker. He's a terribly flat, uninteresting character. He's a complete hypocrite. I would like to kill him. I am somewhere in between these two opinions. Yeah, N is kind of flat, but damn can he wear that cap of his. N got explicit fanart made of him the day pictures of him were first released for god's sake! I don't think that's ever happened with Pokemon before. Actually considering the fandom I wouldn't be surprised if it has. I simply can't being myself to hate or even dislike N. It's too much fun to think up things Touya could have said or done to N had Touya not been born a mime. For that matter what went on in that Ferris wheel is even more interesting to think about. I'll stop digressing now. I do have a friend who has somehow gained an unnaturally strong hatred for N. She's the one who got me thinking about all this actually.
