Congrats Lynn! Lynn has booked a recurring role on Covert Affairs.

Is Annie Walker about to get caught in a “nyet”? Perhaps, seeing how Covert Affairs has cast X-Men Origins: Wolverine‘s Lynn Collins in the recurring role of a “formidable” Russian agent who’ll continuously cross paths with Piper Perabo’s protagonist spy, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Collins, best known to TV fans for her role as True Blood‘s Dawn, will play Olga Akarova, an FSB operative “who does not shy away from taking on any opponent who gets in her way.”

Other guest stars slated for Season 5 of the USA Network thriller include Amy Jo Johnson, Michael A. Goorjian, Perrey Reeves, Max Martini and Nazneen Contractor.

Paradigm has signed Lynn Collins. Managed by Untitled Entertainment’s Jason Newman and Stephanie Simon, Collins starred in John Carter and also starred in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. She played Portia opposite Al Pacino in the feature adaptation of The Merchant Of Venice. Onstage, she also played Ophelia opposite Liev Schreiber in Hamlet, and played Juliet in Romeo And Juliet in the Ahmanson Theatre production.

Casting Update: Sarah Jane Morris joins Occult

Sarah Jane Morris is the latest actor to join Lynn in the A&E’s TV pilot, Occult.

NCIS alum Sarah Jane Morris has boarded A&E’s Occult pilot in a role that would seem to not afford her much screen time.

Or will it…? [Cue spooky X-Files theme]

In the drama project penned by celebrated X-Files scribe James Wong, Morris will play wife to Josh Lucas’ FBI Agent Dolan, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Thing is, as the series opens, Dolan is returning from leave after going off the deep end while investigating… his wife Rebekah’s disappearance. :-O

Now back on the job, Dolan is paired with Noa Blair (Lynn Collins, True Blood), an agent who, perhaps because of her own “complicated” past, specializes in the occult. Together, they will solve cases for a newly formed occult crimes task force.

Also on board for the pilot are Agnes Bruckner (Covert Affairs), playing a presumed dead lass who eerily rises from the autopsy table resolved to join a cult; Daniel Henney (Hawaii Five-0) as the Special Agent in Charge who assigns Dolan to what I am dubbing “the OCTF”; and Brennan Brown (Person of Interest) as the Assistant Director of the FBI’s New Orleans field office.

In addition to her NCIS arc, Morris’ TV credits include Brothers & Sisters and guest-starring turns on Castle and Body of Proof.

Daniel Henney & Brennan Brown are the latest actors to join Lynn in A&E’s tv pilot, Occult.

Daniel Henney and Brennan Brown are set to co-star opposite Josh Lucas and Lynn Collins in A&E‘s drama pilot Occult, produced by Michael Bay and written by James Wong. Occult centers on Dolan (Lucas), an FBI agent who returns from administrative leave after going off the deep end while investigating his wife’s disappearance. Henney, repped by CAA and Medavoy Management, will play Thompson, the Special Agent in Charge, investigating the abduction of the Governor’s daughter, who has recruited Dolan. Brown, repped by BRS, Curtis Brown and Soffer/Namoff), will play Monroe, Assistant Director of the FBI field office in New Orleans.

Agnes Bruckner joins Lynn in A&E’s TV pilot, Occult:

Agnes Bruckner, who plays Anna Nicole Smith in Lifetime’s upcoming biopic of the former Playboy model, has been cast in another A+E Networks project. Bruckner is set to co-star opposite Josh Lucas and Lynn Collins in A&E‘s drama pilot Occult, produced by Transformers helmer Michael Bay and written by veteran genre writer and The X-Files alum James Wong. Occult, which draws parallels to X-Files and Fringe, centers on Dolan (Lucas), an FBI agent who returns from administrative leave after going off the deep end while investigating his wife’s disappearance.

Eager to be back on the job, he is paired with Noa Blair (Collins), an agent with her own complicated backstory who specializes in the occult. Together, they will solve cases for the newly formed occult crimes task force. Bruckner, repped by APA and Oren Segal of MPE, will play Lucy, an attractive, edgy young soul caught up in the occult. Presumed dead after being shot in the heart, she rises from the autopsy table, possessed and hell-bent on joining her fellow cultists.

Wong executive produces with Bay and his partners at Platinum Dunes Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. ABC Studios is producing. Bruckner’s credits also include Murder By Numbers and Haven.
