Hi guys, as part of Mother's Day Celebration today, I am going to be writing review about a locally made film about a young mother and her relationship with her family, especially about her eldest son who is having mental problem and how it's connected to me.

The Story

So the film is actually serve like a flashback as we go to see Sunny's childhood memories and his relationship with his friends, family and especially with his mom and eldest brother ('Boy'). He misunderstood his brother's behaviour who is encountering a mental problem (probably autism) and sometimes he will come into his brother's defense when he is bitten by his mother during one occasion. It was like revisiting his past to us!
He also reconciles with his estranged eldest sister, and she is very religious and always prays that everything will be alright. She and her brother also pray to their mom and their eldest brother for forgiveness after the latter was being send to an asylum by his younger siblings and sadly committed suicide there. It was a touching moment for everyone in the cinema hall, especially me.

The Characters

As mentioned, Ah Boy sort of reminds me of my younger brother who is autistic and cannot control his emotions. But my younger brother is not as bad as Ah Boy and I hope that he gets to redeems himself as he grows up, his younger brother and sister did not quite understand his situation at all considering how young they were. So, we can't blame them at all!

Moral Values

The one thing I learn from this film, as we grow up we learn to understand the reasons and a gray lining into a situation instead of black and white. I grew up to understood my brother more despite that we occasionally fight!
The second one is definitely motherly love, that is the whole point of the film and Mother's Day today!

My Love, My Family

I had learn a lot from this film and for those who haven't seen it, go ahead and watch it.

Hello everyone, so this review is on the Sybil Kathigasu mini series biopic who bravely defied the Japanese Occupation of Malaya. Ready?

The Story

So, the story starts out with Sybil having a normal life with her family. Unfortunately, this happens in the midst of World War II and it happens around the same time that my grandma (RIP) was force into marriage age 16!
Sybil worked desperately to fight with the Guerillas and sadly was captured by the Japanese soldiers in the end. I totally salute her for that, in fact we have a street name after her in her honour here in Ipoh!
It was also sad that...
