Released on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, Michael's final release, "MICHAEL", sold more than 3,000 000 copies within its first week. Not bad for a postumus release, this C.D. was going to put Michael back on the map; as well, as regain the respect from the public, and his big comeback alongside his ill-fate "This Is It" concert tour. After hearing this album, I thought this was one of the best recordings I've ever heard because this new recording was going to show another side of Michael we've never got to see.
Michael's duet with Akon, "Hold My Hand", which is the first song on the album, was the one song I liked because of the words and its message, or his collaboration with Lenny Kravitz on "(I Can't) Make it Another Day", which was written and produced by Kravitz, had more of a sounding Michael in his powerhouse vocals. One of my favorite songs is "The Way You Love Me"; in regards to, being wooed by a prospective lover. In conclusion, I truly believe this album would've earned Michael a Grammy nomination, or a good review in "BILLBOARD" magazine, but sadly he didn't live to enjoy the benefits of his budding success. I listen to this album on occasions just hear his new and mature sound. If Michael could have just hung in there, I believe he would have made it.
