This is just a little piece showing my gratitude to all the years that Mark Harmon has been been on TV and Movie. Yes, he recently turned 60 years old and his hear has gone gray/silver, but he shows up everyday to work on that great show called NCIS. Though Mark Harmon is " leading" man on this show, he is just like everyone else when he is on the set. He doesn't but in line at lunchtime, he goes to the end of the line. From what I have heard he is a nice guy, very down to earth.
Mark has been married for almost 25 years. You don't see that too often these days in Hollywood. I heard him in an interview once. He said he only wanted to get married once and wanted it to work. Both of his siters had been divorced and he didn't want to ever be in a relationship that ended that way. I just think that is great.
His wife, Pam Dawber, had said in an interview once that you can have every thing, but not at the same time. Once their children came, they made sure that one or the other and both of them were there as much as possible. Family is very important to them. I think that is wonderful. Alot of stars have sitters that watch their children constantly so they can both continue with their careers. Mark and Pam didn't choose to do that.
Mark is an outdoor type of guy. He has alwats liked sports. He played football for UCLA in early 1970's. He was their quarterback. He has liked running. He enjoys horseback riding. He and his family get out of California on his breaks from NCIS and go to a horse ranch for several weeks to enjoy the outdoors and the quietness from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
This is just my opinion of things that I have picked up by reading and listening to Mark Harmon on inerviews. I would never attempt to write any false information that would cause any defamation of character.
