I apperated to the middle of the desert, this is where Near told me Mello was located. I sighed, then saw an armed drone above me, “Let me in Mello, you’re not the only one that’s armed” I said, looking at the holster around my hips, then looking at the drone. There was tension in the silence, I counted the seconds I was standing there. 7. 8. 9. Then a part in the ground opened up to reveal a steel bunker. I walked through its tube-like halls until I reached a steel door, which I hammered on.
    Mello opened the door, he looked…different…since the last time I saw him. He had yellow-orange, chin length hair as always, but he was darker. His pants were black leather and his black leather vest was open in the front. “What do you want?” he asked in a strong voice, I looked into his fierce, pure blue eyes. “The same thing you do. Kira’s head.”
    “...We’re not accepting new members” he said, beginning to close the door, I put my foot between it and the door frame. “Mello.” he stopped and looked at me through the crack of the door.
    “Please…”
    There was silence. A moment of consideration on his part, and then he sighed, “Fine, you can come in” he said, opening the door and allowing me into a large room with multiple old couches and armchairs. Matt was bent over on one of them, sucked into a video game on his Nintendo DS, occasionally brushing his messy brown hair out of his eyes. There were also a number of muscular men sitting around, one looked at me, “Are you kidding me Mello?” the man asked, “You’re not seriously letting some chick into the mafia are you?” he asked again, now looking at Mello.
    I walked up to the man, “You seem to think I’m unfit for this, why?” I asked him, all the men in the room laughed (except Matt, of course, who was sucked into his game) as I shook my head. I grabbed my wand and laughed, they all got a crack out of it, “A chick with a stick that’s hilarious” they all said. I waved my wand and made the man levitate, then slammed him into the right wall, and then the left. The laughter stopped as I continued to completely beat this man.
    
    I let him down, blood on his face and a few bones broken. A few more guys came at me, “Let’s see what else you can do pretty lady,” one said. I jumped up, wrapped my legs around his head and brought him down on the ground, the other guys came at me, “Stupefy” I calmly said, stunning multiple of the guys. Matt looked up from his game and stared at all the men who were now on the ground.
    I took the first man by the collar of his shirt and brought him up to face me, “Not so pretty now am I?” I asked, he shook his head in fear. I dropped him, “That’s what I thought.”
    Matt put down his DS (which was a first) “When did C get here?” he asked. Mello and I sighed as Matt took off his goggles, “Did someone mistake you for just a pretty lady again?” he asked, looking around at his colleagues who were unconscious on the ground. “Yeah, bet that’ll be the last time” I sighed, sitting down on a couch. Mello laughed and nodded, unwrapping a chocolate bar and taking a bite.
    “Now, what’ll be our first move?” I asked, Mello sighed, “Well we need the notebook. Maybe…kidnapping the director?” he asked. I shook my head, “No. No kidnapping. We can’t go against the law Mello” I sighed, he handed me a chocolate bar, “Thanks,” I said, unwrapping it.
    Matt took out a cigarette and a lighter and started smoking, soon the entire bunker smelled like cigarette smoke. “What did I tell you about this Matt? Smoking isn’t good for you” I said pretending to not care. “Don’t care, it feels good anyway” he replied. I sighed, this was going to be a lot more difficult than I initially thought.
