(This takes place in the Bad era...)
One stormy night, Essie Jackson, one of the most famous entertainer of all time, was rehearsing for her upcoming tour in London. It was 1:45 a.m. when they were finished rehearsing and she was very exhausted. Essie called for her limo and slept on the way to her hotel. When she arrived, she immediately went to bed not minding her clothes. The next morning, she felt her whole body ache. She felt that she needed a bath so she painfully went out of bed and went to the shower. After her bath, she felt refreshed and better than ever. Then she got dressed and went out for a walk. "Thank God it's my day-off" Essie thought to herself. Then, the people started to notice Essie and approached her like a mob. "Oh My God! Miss Essie I'm your number one fan!" one person said. "Miss Essie can I have your autograph!" another one said. Then the people started to scramble all around her just to get a glimpse. Essie felt suffocated by the many people so she screamed "People please! I'm sorry but I feel exhausted. Can you give me some space please?" The people started to stay away and Essie was relieved. She went back to her hotel and began to sob. "I can't believe that popularity can kill" she said to herself. Just then, someone knocked at her door and she immediately wiped the tears off her face. "Come in" she said trying to sound professional as possible. "Miss Essie, someone sent you these flowers" the head of the hotel happily said. "Oh how delightful. Thank you" Essie replied with a big grin on her face. The head of the hotel left and Essie stared at the flowers. These made her day. She read the note that stuck to the flowers. The note read: "TO MISS ESSIE, I AM A BIG FAN OF YOURS AND I WILL BE ATTENDING YOUR CONCERT TOMORROW NIGHT. HOPE YOU ENJOY THESE FLOWERS! GOOD LUCK!

Why the finger tapes??
Michael Beardon (Musical Director of This Is It) has to answer:
"I asked him one day" MJ why you have this tape in your hands? "I always wanted to know, and I could ask him personally afterwards. If you can ask someone like Michael need something, what would you ask him?
And so great was Michael, he has replied to me.
"You want to really know you?" The tape around his fingers, he said, well, that feels good. And you see it, the white tape, your eyes follow him automatically. This is one of the show-biz things he learned when he was a child.
