I've been an avid fan of your work for more years than I care to admit (since Valley Girl, when I was 30). I just wanted to ask if you modeled your "look" in Sorcerer's Apprentice on Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden, and to STRONGLY urge you to do a "Dresden Files" film. I know you were an Executive Producer on the abortive "Dresden Files" TV show (so hopefully can option the rights from Butcher), but I think Stewart Townsend was not up to the role. My dear Nicolas, I love every single one of your movies save one. Last night I tried to watch a movie strictly because you were in it where you played a drug addicted homicide cop. I was so disappointed. So much so, I had to stop watching it. You are such a class act that I was shocked that you chose to play a part in this movie. My question is this. What made you choose that movie?
