My next class was P.E. yay! Soccer! I got up off my seat and picked up my gear bag. Niall saw my gear bag and stared at me weirdly. “I thought there was no girl’s soccer team in this school?” niall looked really confused. “There isn’t. I’m on the boys’ team.” I said, staring into his eyes. “Really? That’s cool!” niall smiled.
“You think so?” I didn’t think niall would be the type of guy who would think a girl who plays on the boy soccer team would be ‘cool’. “Ya, im actually a big fan of soccer myself. Maybe after school you and me could go and play a game or something like that?” niall said while looking at me.
“Are...Are...are you serious? You wanna play a game of soccer.... with me?” I stuttered. “Umm ya, why?” niall looked puzzled. “But you’re a... a SUPERSTAR, and you’re asking me to play soccer with you?” I was shocked. “Umm ya! Kind of... I think you’re funny! I like funny.” Niall stared into my eyes. I stared into his. I couldn’t believe it! Niall thought I was funny!
“NIALLERS! WERE ARE YA?” zayn and harry shouted from outside the classroom. “Here!” niall roared back. Harry and zayn came inside. They spotted me. “Hello der! and who may you be?” harry said, winking at me. “Oh hi! Im Leah.” I was smiling like mad. I was in front of three members of one direction!
“So niall, are you and Leah...” I knew what zayn meant. “Oh no! I was just talking to her about soccer. She’s is on the boys soccer team!” niall winked at me. “impressive.” zayn and harry nodded. “Ya me and Leah are gonna go play soccer after school. You can come if ye want....” niall looked at me to see if that was ok. I grinned. I didn’t really care!
“Nah, we’re ok. We met these two really nice girls in geography and we are going out to see a movie with them.” Harry looked really happy to have met this girl he was talking about. Poor Kate though, I bet when she hears about this girl she will be crushed. The same goes for Amanda. Her and zayn are PERFECT!
“What are their names haz?” niall asked. “Well the girl I met is called kate and the girl zayn met is called Amanda.” The two of them looked like six year old boys who had just got extra sweets. “Um sorry to but in but, by any chance are them girls Kate dinneen and Amanda allsopp?” I had my fingers crossed behind my back hoping it was them.
“Ya, it is actually. Do you know them or something?” zayn asked me. “Ya, they are my best friends.” I smiled. “Oh that’s cool! By the way, what happened your eye?” harry asked me. “Oh um, I walked into a locker.” My face went bright red. “Sorry for asking, but how did you manage that?” zayn asked, giggling.
“Let’s just say im a bit clumsy to say the least! Anyway I’ve got to go, I can’t really be late for another class! See you guys around and enjoy your day! And I’ll see you after school niall. Bye!” I grabbed my bags and made my way for the door. “Bye le!” niall said as I walked out the door.
Omg! Niall just called me le! I barley know him for 2 hours and i already have a nickname! Yay! As i left i heard harry and zayn talking about me. “She is very giddy niall! Ye guys make a perfect match! You should hook up with her. She’s very different.” “Ya, she’s different all right. She’s quirky and a bit odd, but in a good way!” niall was all hyper.
