"Can it ever be true?"
Well, after tonight's episode and the long wait we have endured what can I say? Only more questions brought to the plate. The most obvious with us LP fans, What did the doctor say?
Brulian/Brooke fans, Why and will they ever let Brooke just be happy?
It brings me back to LP. Yes, Luke and Peyton have come through a lot, and have had the rockiest road to get where they are. Always having to fight an uphill battle to be happy. We can finally see that the other show has indeed dropped. Only so much LP bliss to go around, but it the footnotes of the story, some hope shines through, Peyton.
Her words, her love, her emotion all leading her down a path she never knew existed. A path she is willing to fight for with all her strength.
If it is true, and happiness can endure all of life's turmoil and tragedy, then are they better for it? Or has it all been in vain? Only time can tell the answers to those burning questions, but I remain emotionally hopeful, that it can be true, love, and always.
Brooke Davis. What can I say about this girl, she makes me laugh, she makes me mad, she defies the laws of physics. What can I say? I want Brooke to be HAPPY! for once in her life, for the world to be less scary because you can share it with someone with your whole heart, and have that returned ten fold. To be near to someone, and know you wouldn't rather be anywhere else. Why on earth can't Brooke ever be happy?
Perhaps it too only prolongs the inevitable for her and Julian that indeed someone can finally wait for her, and fight for her like always. Perhaps it too puts off the emotion she feels in order for it to burst at any given moment, finally allowing herself to be happy, and at peace with herself. The question is when?
So, a riddle has been said. A story told. And a word spoken. Now only questions remain in a silent but murky road ahead.
