The older gentleman came into the room backstage. He gave a smile and said, "I enjoyed your performance tonight. It was very refreshing to hear the songs I grew up hearing. It's not very common to find young people interested in that type of music." Les said, "Thank you. Would you like an autograph?" The older man laughed. "No, actually, that's not why I'm here. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Henry, and I've always wanted to manage a band. You are so good, you deserve to be playing more than just clubs." Charles said, "You mean we should be playing in large venues like theaters?" Henry said, "Exactly. I'd also like to get you a record deal so that you can produce your own albums." Felix said, "That can only help, as we do write original songs." Henry said, "Fantastic! That way, people can hear your music. Who knows? You might be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame someday." Les said, "Like the Beatles!" Henry said, "Yeah, and all the great bands!" Jimmy said, "This is a good opportunity for us. I think we should take Henry up on his offer." Finally, Les's dream of becoming a rock star was coming true. Within a week, A Wave Tossed in the Ocean already had a record deal. They began recording original songs. No two songs sounded the same. They spanned across many genres from the sixties and seventies. They soon released their self-titled debut album, and it was soon topping the charts. Not long after the release of the album, they released two of their songs, "The Letter" and "Healing a Broken Heart" as singles. The songs quickly became hits. Within a month, Henry arranged a tour for the boys. They were all very excited. As for Les, he still had his scars from his abusive father, but they were beginning to fade, thanks to his new friends. Henry became a father figure to the boys, especially Les. Once, Les even said to Henry, "You're the father I never had." This made Henry smile. He said, "You're all the sons I've never had." Thanks to Jimmy, Charles, Felix, and Henry, Les finally had a family who always accepted him for who he is and always understood him.

Hello, everyone! This article is my plans for the remainder of this year and the new year. I thought I would type this in an article, because it will be easier to tell everyone this way. Without further ado, let's get started.

As you all know, 2018 is drawing to a close, as we are now in December. I know that's hard to believe, but ready or not, 2019 is coming. I am doing another fan fiction about Jane and Paula. I will most likely post the first part around the middle or end of the coming week. This will be my last fan fiction of this year. Don't worry. I have more planned for 2019. You will...

Carl finished telling his story. John said, "This was a very touching story. I understand what you've been through." He wiped a tear from his eye. Peter had been crying, too. He said, "You're living a good life, mate." Stan, who rarely cried, was also crying. He said, "Yes, especially compared to what you've been through." Allen said, "I'm really glad you are living a good life." Erin and Lola hugged Carl. They admired how brave he was for telling his story. Erin, of course, sort of knew what he went through. After all, she had been abused by her grandfather. Paul placed a hand on Carl's shoulder and said, "You're a brave man, Carl. You're a brave man." Carl said, "Thanks for supporting me while I told my story. I'm glad that things have turned out for the better."

The New Band
One day, Erin, Paul, and I got invited to a party. Our classmate, Lola, invited us. I had my suspicions, considering that she often hung out with popular girls, but Erin pointed out that Lola was always nice to us. We showed up to the party early. Lola was really friendly and let us in. We waited on the other guests to show up, but they never did. I could see that Lola was sad. She felt better when Erin said to her, "We like you." Lola then revealed that she plays bass and always wanted to be part of a band. She had great chemistry with us. I became really close with Lola. It's...

Opening Up to Others
Taking my uncle's advice, I finally decided to let others in. I befriended a boy named Jake. We did a lot of things together. Unfortunately, when we were thirteen, Jake moved away. We kept in touch for a while, but eventually, we lost touch. I don't know what happened. I did befriend some others, but those friendships didn't last long. Just when I'd start to get close with someone, that person would move away, and we'd lose touch with each other. I never knew why we lost touch. Did their social lives change? Did something happen to them? Did they move again? I don't know....

Carl Finds Genuine Love
When I was ten years old, my aunt and uncle came for Thanksgiving. My mother cooked dinner. While we were having dinner. I accidentally dropped a piece of turkey in the floor. I picked it up so that we wouldn't have a mess to clean up later. My father said, "You are NOT going to eat that." I said, "No, Father, I was just picking it up so we won't have a mess to clean up later." He said, "Show some respect when you answer me!" I said, "But I am showing respect, sir." He hit me in the head with an empty beer bottle. When I came to, my father and uncle were arguing. My...

Introduction
The members of The Devil Wants Peace and the members of New Religion were hanging out together. John said, "I think we've heard everyone's life stories except for Carl's." Peter said, "Yeah, I think so." Allen said, "I think you should tell us your story, Carl." Stan nodded in agreement. Carl held back tears. His story was rather painful, and he wasn't sure he wanted to share it with his newest friends. Paul said, "It's all right, Carl. You can tell them." Erin said, "You're safe with The Devil Wants Peace." Lola said, "Erin's right. You don't have to be afraid to tell them." Carl...

Hello, everyone! I decided to do a list of ten more things you (probably) didn't know about me. Without further ado, let's get started.

1. When I was little, one of my favorite foods was Watergate Salad. It was very popular in the 1970s, but some people still make it. As I got older, and my tastes changed, I decided I didn't like Watergate Salad so much.

2. My favorite sandwich is a tuna melt on rye.

3. When I wasn't sure whether I wanted a German Shepherd or another Siberian Husky, I already had named picked out. If I got a German Shepherd, I was going to name him King. If I got a Husky, I was...

Lola finished telling her story. Peter said, "That was a touching story, love." John said, "Indeed." Stan nodded in agreement. Allen said, "I'm glad you found friends who see what a sweet and wonderful person you are." Lola smiled and said, "I'm glad for that, too." Erin said, "Our band wouldn't be the same without you, Lola." Lola said, "Aw! You're just saying that. Really?" Paul said, "If we didn't have you, we wouldn't be the band we are today." Carl said, "That's right." Lola said, "Aw, you guys! You're making me cry." Erin, Paul, and Carl swept Lola up in a group hug and said,...
