The Truth, Lies, and Doris - A Dorski Fanfiction: Part 1

"Gah!"
    Kowalski woke up with a jolt, almost awakening the team from their deep slumber. He heard the soft thump of his heart pounding in his chest. Trying to calm himself, he quietly slipped out of his bunk and peered at the alarm clock.
"3:40?! I got to get back to sleep! Tomorrow there is agility training!"
    Kowalski rubbed his eyes and quietly headed back to the small bunk, oblivious to Skipper's disappearance.

The dock...

    Small penguin feet waddled across the dock, sly and stealthy, not making the slightest sound. The dock was calm, no humans around fortunately, and most of the seabirds have already gone to sleep.
"Doris?.....Doris?"
    The penguin hid behind multiple boxes and crates, calling out her name every few moments of silence. He hopped atop of a pile of wooden lobster crates, flat head quickly observing the following surroundings, the calm swish of the ocean waves, the sparkling moon and city lights glinting across the water, a perfect scene of tranquility.
"Skipper?"
    Doris's head peeked around the corner of a box, her sky blue eyes widened by the dark. She sat by the edge of the dock, staying on land but dipping her tail into the water to keep moist.
"Is anyone else here besides you, Skipper? It would be bad if Kowalski saw us together."
"No, everyone is sound asleep right now, I checked." replied Skipper.
    Considering what Doris just said, Skipper wondered what would happen if Kowalski did come. (Oh what a dilemma that would be!)
"I'm positive no one will come, its too early in the morning.", Skipper added.(Luckily I'm right...)

Back at the HQ.....

    Private and Rico dreamed peacefully, while Kowalski tossed and turned, his previous nightmare returning after only 30 minutes of tranquil sleep.
"No, no! Stay back you wicked dentist!", He mumbled in his sleep.
    Awakening for the third time tonight, Kowalski jolted up, accidently falling out of his cozy bed and hitting the hard floor.
"Oww!"
    Kowalski rubbed his aching head and glanced at Skipper's bunk making sure that he didn't wake up. To his surprise, Skipper was missing without any trace or note left behind. Kowalski surveyed the following options for this mysterious dissapearance:
- Find Skipper using my new and improved tracking device.
- Go back to sleep and wait for Skipper to come in the morning.
    Having no choice but to help a fellow operative, Kowalski decided to go with the first option and bring a flashlight with him. Kowalski sneaked into his lab and came out with the tracking device and a small indigo LED flashlight.
(I'll have to make this quick, it's 4:10 and getting close to morning.)
So being it out of concern, Kowalski at 4:10 A.M. went out to find Skipper, using a miniscule tailfeather from his bunk placed in the tracking machine to locate him.

At the dock....

"So, Doris, whatever happened to living in the zoo?", Skipper asked.
"They decided to just let me free and leave the habitat empty, I don't know why they did but that's what happened. It feels so much better to be out here in the open."
"Hmm, well I'm glad we can still see each other!" Skipper exclaimed with a half-smile.
"Oh Skipper, you gentleman!"
     Skipper leaned in to kiss Doris, completely unaware of anything else around him.

    A flash of light waved across the boards of the dock, illuminating speedy rats and piles of objects as it waved by.
(He should be around here somewhere, the tracking device led me to this location!)
    Kowalski spotted an outline by the edge of the dock, but couldn't make out the figure.
(That must be Skipper! I thought he was in danger or ensnared in a cage by Officer X.)
    Kowalski slid nearer to the black outline, expecting Skipper to ask him what he was doing here, so Kowalski stopped and turned behind a crate of fishing supplies. He took out his clipboard and wrote down his alternatives,
- Tell Skipper I was worried about him and came to find him
(This one seems the most true...)
- Say I was trying to find something that I lost out here.
(Skipper knows I haven't near the docks for awhile... not after Doris left the zoo...)
- Improvise.
(I'll have to go with option 1, it's the truth and Skipper won't ask many questions about it)
    Kowalski chose option one, the choice that was the actual truth, and put away his clipboard. He took out the small LED flashlight and switched the power to on. Kowalski thought about Skipper yelling at him, but it was unlikely if he told the truth. Kowalski followed the tracker's bright red arrow, flashing on its screen that he was closing in by 10 yards.
    Kowalski then knew what he saw.
    The unknown "figure" was actually two figures, Skipper and Doris at the edge of the water, kissing.
    Just like Kowalski dreamed, except it was supposed to be him.
    Standing there trembling with rage, Kowalski decided to change to the alternative option.
    (Time to Improvise)

"SKIPPER!"
     Startled and caught off-guard, Skipper fell from the small box he was standing on to reach Doris. Skipper quickly turned his head to Kowalski, pupils dilated as he realized that he had seen the entire thing.
"Kowalski?! No i-it's not what you think!"
    Doris only sat there startled, thinking of what she had done, breaking Kowalski's heart, not listening to that poem he made for her... and now this. She knew that she never paid that much attention to him, even though he had been kind to her in every way. And now, Doris cut the last thread of hope that Kowalski had of Dorski, and of her.
"I KNOW WHAT I SAW SKIPPER!"
    Kowalski started to close in the few yards that Skipper and him had apart. Fury and hate were distinctive in his expression as his face entered the moon's glow. His loud voice could be heard all across the dock. The sound rebounded off of nearby objects, emphasizing the effect.
"AND WHAT I SEE NOW IS YOU, DORIS, AND YOUR LIES TO ME!"
"K-Kowalski... calm down..", Skipper said in a trembling voice, backing up and raising his flippers as a sign of non-violence.
"HOW CAN I 'CALM DOWN' IF YOU WERE KISSING THE DOLPHIN THAT YOU KNOW I LOVED?!"
    Skipper stood there motionless as Kowalski's hard gaze now turned on Doris. Doris and Kowalski stared into each other's eyes, Kowalski's filled with anger and hurt while Doris's apologetic.
"AND YES DORIS, I SAID LOVED, BECAUSE NOT ANYMORE! I GAVE YOU ALL MY HEART, AND THEN YOU DECIDED TO JUST TEAR IT INTO TINY PIECES! I CAN TRUST NO ONE!"
Doris could only whisper,"I'm.. I'm so sorry Kowalski..."
    He flipped on top of the highest tower of crates and fishing supplies. Multiple hooks and other equipment slid down, almost hitting Skipper and Doris. He pointed his flipper at Skipper and Doris in ferocity.
"NO ONE!"
    Kowalski dove into the water with a splash and swam away as Doris and Skipper watched, stunned by his dramatic display. Upset and broken-hearted, he swam for miles on end, not even stopping at the thought of sharks or the team or Doris. The sun started to rise from a billow of clouds, the colors painting the sky into a beautiful mixture of pinks, yellows, and oranges. The sea calmed down most of his anger, but replaced by anger was misery. Being in the water, no one would be able to see his tears of despair.
Remember, in this chapter Skipper is a chick
Fact you need to know about this chapter: Military Mascots were animals who came to the wars and helped keep the soldiers' spirits up and remind them of their pets (Plz don't kill me if you think I'm wrong, I read it at school!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The military officer had taken Skipper to be his team's mascot.
Skipper didn't like it one bit at first, he hated the training that the soldiers did which took forever each day, the fish was horrible, and gun fires terrified him.
The only fun time he got was when he got attention from the...
Chapter 5: Tranquility Lane
Private made it to a small abandon car repair shop. Private looked at his Pip-Boy to see if he went to the right place, and it said Vault 112. Private went inside anyways to see what he could find. The place was old and dusty, cobwebs everywhere. Private noticed a huge door on the floor on the far-left side of the room, and walked to it. He opened the door and it showed stairs that lead to the basement. He went down, but saw that this wasn’t the basement at all. Instead it was the entrance to Vault 112. Private looked at the control panel, and just simply just pressed...
It was a typical day at the zoo again, just laying down on my bed, I had another dream about skipper..I can get him out of my head....but I don't know what to do! What should I do Leslie? "We'll Marlene, have you told him about your feelings towards him?" Said Leslie.(Leslie was one of my best friends at the zoo, we talk about everything together). " I've tried, but he ignores me like I'm nothing towards him" I said. We both continued to talk about how to make him like me, until Leslie thought of this crazy idea that might just work. "Why don't you just go out with one of his friends, that...
Chapter 3: Mutant Nightmare
Private left Megaton and made his way to the Galaxy News Radio Station. Private figured out how to put directions into his Pip-Boy, and it was easier then he thought. He just had to put the name of the location he wanted to go to, and the Pip-Boy would serve as a GPS. He had a bit of ways to go, but he’d go any distance to see his father again. He waddled a long road, but his Pip-Boy led him to an underground train station. Private looked at the directions again to make sure it wasn’t wrong, and it wasn’t. The underground train station was actually a shortcut...
Hey this is my first fanfic so plz no hate! :)This fanfic is about a girl penguin that comes to the zoo and falls for Skipper.
My name is Kat, but I'm not a cat, I am a penguin, from Antarctica. I have one problem with my home: it's too cold. I knew one day I would escape that horrible snow land, and that day was yesterday, when that weird man came and put me in a crate, and for once in my life I felt comfortable and warm.
Today I am traveling to a new home, hopefully a warm one.
I don't know how long I was in that crate but all I know now is that I'm here at my new home...a zoo? cool!
Am I alone in this penguin habitat? Just then I hear waddling coming from under the platform, okay good I'm not alone.
Skipper pokes his head through the hatch hole and spots Kat, then calls the the rest of the team. Is our new penguin here yet Skipper? Private asks. Yes Private, she's here.
Oh hi I'm Kat, I'm new here I said cheerfully.
5:00 p.m., Petting Zoo
-----------------------------
"AH!" Skipper screamed and stomped and killed lots of bugs or you know what ever they were, but more kept coming to bite him.
Rico came 4 minutes later, and almost passed out by the sight of hundreds of....things. He puked up a flyswatter and started smashing bugs. But it was no use.
He finally gave up and watched in horror as his leader would (possibly) be eaten. He glanced to his right and saw a book--more like a journal--and picked it up.
They finally are up the stairs, when they meet yet another hallway. Private's tiny jaw almost hits the floor. Nigel contuines waddling on down it. His nephew stares up at him, and imitates his every move.
"We're close, Private." Nigel encourages Private. The young penguin slouches onward, but quickly goes back to acting like his uncle. His mother laughs, for she knows she made the right decision.
"Nigel, what does this machine do?" She asks cautiously gesturing toward a colossal rectangluar appliance. It is black on the top and bottom. A shiny object seals vivid minisquel shapes that are held...
I could hardly see through the tears. "Skipper!" I cried, pulling away from my mother. I ran after Skipper and my unfaimiliar father. I knew I could save my younger brother. After all dad wanted both of us. Our parents had divorced right after Skipper was born. Our mom got both of us and ever since then our dad wanted one of us.
It's my bedtime now I'll write more later.
“So, now it’s your turn, Skipper” Katherine said. It was late, Kowalski and Rico yawned, but they tried to hide it.
“Maybe tomorrow, you’re sleepy...”
“No!” Private, Kowalski and Rico protested, Katherine and Skipper looked at them with a well-known look.
“Ok, maybe, but continue, please” Kowalski said, Private made puppy dog eyes.
“No, really, go and take a rest, we all should take a rest from yesterday’s events” Katherine said and stroked Private’s head “Goodnight” she said and left the penguins’ HQ. They went to their bunks, the three penguins couldn’t wait...
"Ok, run away from here, Private" Blowhole said.
"No, I don't want to leave you" Private said with tears in eyes.
"We love you" said Katherine and they hugged for the last time.
They dashed through the water. Rocky waves thrashed above. A stormy sky blew its wrath upon the ocean. It was like a child's tantrum, pelting rain to the water's surface non-stop. Every trace of light from the sky was masked by the clouds.
Beneath the surface of the water were the five penguins. Rico was occupying himself by snacking on every fish that swam by. They were actually quite beautiful with a certain grace. Their vivid colored scales shimmered under the reflected light.
Skipper turned his head to find Private missing from his side. He stopped, and scanned around for his soldier. His...
Private sat next to his Skipper on the shore of the pond sticking his feet in. The leader carried two fishing rods. Private was very much younger. His saphire eyes looked even bigger than how they became.
"So why did you want to go fishing, sir?" Private chirped.
"I wanted to talk to you." Skipper said.
"What're these sticks for?" Private pondered. He was pointing to the rods.
"You mean the fishing poles?" Skipper asked both puzzled and astonished.
"Yeah," Private nodded.
"You've never been taught how to fish, at least with a pole?" Skipper questioned. When he was Private's age, he had been taught...
Petting Zoo
There was a fight going on. The Blue Hen was thawed out faster than Steve Rogers and challenged Kowalski to a fight of brains and brawns. The whole zoo was able to watch while Alice was kept busy.
When the fight was going on, as much as Kowalski tried to prevent it, he was getting beaten in places that a penguin didn't want to get beaten. It was a horrifying sight, but the most horrified was Monique, she even tried to keep herself from crying.
When Monique called a time out, the Blue Hen turned around feeling pretty confident about a possible victory.
"Seems like she's still expecting...
"This will definitely be the best day of your life, Monique," Marlene said, remembering her wedding day with Skipper.
“Oh, right...”
“Firstly, we must go out of this tunnel” said Skipper.
“Ok, I think it’s late” said Private and yawned.
“You can fall asleep” said Skipper.
Fifteen minutes later
Kowalski, Rico and Private fell asleep. But Skipper couldn’t sleep. He wanted to be sure, that nobody attack them or follow them. Finally...
DAY 27
As Private woke up from bed that morning, the room was dim. Sure the lights were on, but the sky outside the window was darken. Moisture filled the air. Something in the penguins' instincts told them there would be a storm.
He found Skipper standing stiff in front of the window. Terror flooded his eyes. Rico was just as puzzled as Private. There was something bothering Skipper. Uh-oh, here he goes again.
"Skippah, what's wrong?" Private whimpered.
"What?! Uh ... Nothing."
"Is there something we don't know?" Private gulped.
"Listen, the night we came, Ms. Williams tookme into the hall to discuss...
Problem 1
Kowalski was looking around the zoo. He was inspecting the zoo on his own. He saw a shadowy figure in a hooded sweater by the zoo gates. The figure seemed to be crying. It was a bit tough, but Kowalski recognized the hooded figure to be Monique.
Kowalski called her out, but she just ran away. She knew it was Kowalski, but it was obvious that she didn't feel like talking. That didn't stop Kowalski from going after her, though. Although she kept trying to get away, partially using the roofs of buildings or dark alleyways, he still manages to be on her tail.
Problem 2
After Blowhole was...
