Read the sixteen parts before this to understand. And yes it's almost over.
We walked out of the workhouses and walked through the hall. "Yeah," Clarisse said, "I got taken right out of my house at Half-Blood Suburbs. I was taken here after killing a few monsters with my spear, which they freaking snapped. They thought that with me working on these retarded weapons, they would get some war power. They,"
"Of course!" Annabeth yelled, "Cetus is preparing for the next war with the gods."
"It makes sense." I said. "I mean the last wars weapons were made in Mt. Whitney. Now the surplus is closer to New York."
"We gotta destroy this place." Jillian said while shooting a fire spark at a wall. There wasn't even a burn mark. Clarisse shook her head. "We can only destroy this place if we kill Cetus. His life is connected to his home. If we kill him, we blow this place up."
"How do you know all this?" I asked while turning a corner.
"I hear my fair share of info in the work houses." she said
with a smirk.
We continued walking.
"Look at this thing." Clarisse said while looking at the massive head of the Trojan Horse. It was in prestine condition. Michael caught Clarisse's hand before it touched the wooden mane. "Don't touch the trophies." I remembered to well what happens.
We continued until we hit another slope. The trophy cases also were back on the walls. It took about five minutes to reach the top of the slope and we saw a VERY imreasive door. It was blue and black with numerous sea creatures engraved all over it. "Cetus is beyond that door." Michael said. "I think were ready." Annabeth said.
The door opened in a squeaky sound. "Uh, did you do that Jillian?" I asked. "Eh, no." We stood there for two seconds before a wave of monsters came at us. "Oh my Gods, again."
Well, we got through that in a similar way as last time. Clarisse hasn't forgotten anything from camp.
We walked through the door into the dark room. We heard someone clapping in a sarcastic way. Clap....clap....clap.
We got to the end of the room and saw the guy from my dream in a throne, with his leg crossed. "Very, very good." he said, his voice was smooth and silk-like. He got off his fancy chair and started walking towards us. I was going to slice his head off but our weapons flew away from us into a corner and we couldn't move. "What the Hades?" Clarisse yelled while she struggled, but only her neck, head and fingers moved. It felt like I was sinking in sand. Cetus was in front of us now with a superior look on his face. He wore all black, with diamond stud earings. "Look how far you've come. Get in line." He said and we immediately got into a line. He looked us over like we were in bootcamp. He stopped at me, we were the same height. "Well Percy, son of the sea god. You've done well over the years."
"Have you been watching me or something."
"More than you know." he said. He walked onto Annabeth.
"Annabeth, daughter of Athena. You're much to smart to fall into my trap." he said in a sarcastic tone. Annabeth looked like someone just called her stupid. Cetus moved on.
"Clarisse, daughter of war. You used to work in my workshops." Clarisse said nothing just spat in his face. Cetus had a disgusted look on his face, wiped her spit out of his eye, then slapped her in the face. Her face was as red as a cherry now. "I will destroy you." Cetus smiled. "We'll see." and he moved onto Michael. "Well, brother of Percy. What do you have to say?" Michael chuckled, "Go to Tartarus!" He said cooly. Cetus just smirked and walked to Jillian. "And the final one, Jillian daughter of Hecate. The only one who's godly parent isn't an olympian. Why do you help these people?" he asked calmly. "Cause there my family. I love them, something you'll never be able to do!" She added. Cetus's eyes flared. "Maybe you should join me, and we can rule together." Cetus said while stroking her face. She winced at his touch. "Don't you touch her!!" Michael yelled. "Quiet, I'll do whatever I want. Now Jillian will you join me?" There was a silence. "Never, you creeper." Jillian said. Cetus's face contorted with rage. "Fine, leave my presence!" He yelled and a wall of energy hit all of, sent us soaring out of the throne room and to the end of the hall with a loud crash. Michael's armor shattered as we hit the wall and fell to the floor. We could hear the throne room door slam shut.
"Is everyone okay?" I asked. I heard moaning from everyone except... Jillian! I stood as fast as I could, Michael was already kneeling at Jillians body. She was bleeding badly but she was still living.
"I... put my... armor on... Clarisse... she's more... important." Jillian said through coughing up blood. Michael was crying while trying to heal her head. It was mending, but not fast enough. "Here," Annabeth said, handing Michael ambrosia, and nectar. "No," Jillian coughed, "That won't save me now." Jillian coughed then stopped breathing. Michael stopped healing her, and wept. We all felt bad for him. He had lost everyone.
(Michaels POV)
She couldn't be dead. No, she couldn't be. But she was. I couldn't save her. If it wasn't for my big mouth she would still be at the shop. But that doesn't matter now. There's no undoing the past. I can only get through this like mom and dad. What did I feel you might ask. Sadness, unparalleled amounts of sadness. I had lost everyone. However, there was something that was stronger than the sadness. Anger, I wanted revenge. I would not sleep until Cetus was at the bottom of Tartarus. I wanted pain to rain down onto his black, hollow heart. And I could do that pain to him. I wanted Revenge.
(Percy POV)
Michael cried for ten seconds before, "NOOOOOOO! IT WON'T END LIKE THIS!" Michael yelled. He slammed his fist against the floor and everything shook. "I forgot," Annabeth said over the rumble, "Poseidon causes earthquakes." I remembered that too. But before we could say anything else. Michael formed a wave out of nowhere and rode it up the slope. Me, Annabeth, and Clarisse raced after him.
(Michael POV)
Cetus was going going to die slow and painfully. I thought.
