EG360 here! So, the wait for these articles started off with me being extremely busy, but now I have fallen to laziness. That, and well, I don't have much to say about this article. Enjoy!
5th Place:
Dawn (Platinum Version)
About Dawn: Once again, there is nothing much to say about Dawn. She is niether very liked nor hated in the games. However, her anime and manga counterparts (Dawn and Platinum) are very liked, and the act of a fan judging the playable character by her counterparts is not rare.
Dawn's story begins once again Twinleaf Town as she, and her friend Barry, decide to go visit Professor Rowan at his lab. However, the professor's lab sits in Sangem Town, meaning that they have to travel through Route 201 which is covered in tall grass. Despite not having their own pokemon, they continue through the route. At this point, they meet Rowan in their travels. The professor is so touched by their dedication to pokemon and how they took the risk of going through the tall grass that he rewards the two children with starter pokemon.
Along with performing most of the tasks Dawn did in Pokemon: Diamond Version and Pokemon: Pearl Version, another task is added when Team Galactic attempts to use both Dialga and Palkia. Their plan is stopped by a newly introduced pokemon Giratina. To stop her world and the Distortion World from destroying eachother, Dawn goes to this strange world to face Girantina.
Facts About Dawn:
-Lucas, Rowan's assistant, is Dawn's male counterpart.
-If you choose to play as Lucas, Dawn is Professor Rowan's assistant.
-Both her English and Japanese names are shared with names of evelutionary stones. Dawn is shared with the Dawn Stone. Hikari is shared with the Shiney Stone.
-Dawn's chinese name is shared with Wally's.
-This version of Dawn's outfit was only shown on her anime counterpart for a very short time, unlike may.
-In some art, Dawn is actually shown to have black hair even though her official hair colour is blue.
Espeongirl360's Personal Opinion:
I think she is cool :p I know, not much of an opinion, but I must admit that I never played Platinum Version. I few years ago I debated on wether to buy Platinum Version or Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of time. Since I already had Pearl Version, I went with Mystery Dungeon because I hadn't played that pokemon series yet.
But anyway, I do find this version of Dawn to be cool. The fact that she went to the distortion world, despite the risks interests me and her clothes look better on her. However, I find the beginning of her story to be boring compared to how she got her starter pokemon in Pokemon: Diamond Version and Pokemon: Pearl Version.
Fanpoper's Comments:
tinaloo: Dawn she stoped Team galatic,Saved Uxie mesprite azelf, dialgia, palkia, and girtinia. Also in the game she gets Hetrain, Articuno, Zapdous, Moltres, crescelia. If you have action replay: Shaymin, phione, darkri, regiagas and more
AmyelKitten: I don't get why people don't like Dawn... She might be a little to girly at times but, she isn't that bad.
Bond_Of_Fury: Dawn is actually one of my favourites. I liked her way better in the games than May

Little EG360 note: *freak out* Why do the manga characters have birthdays and the anime ones don't!?!?! This is unfair! Oh what am I saying? The manga is much better than the anime so of coarse they get more love from Satoshi-san! The manga has dying and crushes and violence! It is amazing!
*cough* Now that that is over ...... please fan. That took awhile to type down all of the birthdays >.<
