That day Candy found herself at a shore. She looked back at her old house. “Well,” She sighed, “I guess this is it.” She leaped in the water and rushed to what looked like an island. “Wow,” She exclaimed, “This is just a meadow?” The island was covered with trees, beaches, and more Pokémon. When she got closer, she discovered that these Pokémon were not just any Pokémon. They were shinies, just like she was. “So I see you’ve made it,” A voice told her, “Welcome to the dazzling meadow.” Candy turned around to see a shiny Umbreon smiling. “I hope you enjoy your time here.” The Umbreon’s smile quickly faded. “Except what is SHE doing here?”
Candy turned around to see a familiar Eevee. “Laila,” Candy whispered harshly, “What are you doing here?” Laila just smiled innocently. “You should know we don’t allow Pokémon who are not shiny in the dazzling meadow,” The Umbreon explained. “Oh, uh, it’s nothing,” Candy told the Umbreon, now aware that every Pokémon in the dazzling meadow was staring at them. “Laila, can you please leave,” Candy asked. “Oh! Uh, sure no problem,” Laila replied, obviously hurt, “I’ll just leave…” She ran back to the Pokearth mainland.
“Now have Nikolas here guide you through the dazzling meadow,” The Umbreon instructed. A shiny Furfrou stepped up. “Hello, I’m Nikolas!” He was quite happy. “I will be giving you your tour today!” Nikolas and Candy walked through the dazzling meadow. “This is where we have our meetings,” Nikolas explained, “Luno tells us if there is trouble or what is basically going on. Sort of like a school assembly.” Candy assumed Luno was the Umbreon she had met at the entrance. “And here is the dazzling beach, where we go to relax,” Nikolas continued, “and these are our rock houses.” Rock houses, Candy thought, What am I, a caveman? “I should show you mine,” Nikolas told her, “We’re currently having a meeting.” “We? Who’s ‘we’,” Candy asked. When Nikolas opened the door, Candy could not believe her eyes.
