Hey, Pokemon fans. I'm so sorry for not making any Pokemon related articles here at Fanpop. But here I am now.

Anyway, least year, we have alternate type reprints in the Pokemon TCG. It was first introduced in Ultra Prism. Alternate type reprints is a type of reprint that contains a different type. Example: a Psychic Croagunk from Ultra Prism has an alternate type reprint of Fighting from Forbidden Light.

Now, I'll be taking about a predecessor to alternate type reprints called alternate weakness reprints. What it does is that alternate weakness reprints will feature a different weakness on a reprint.

For example: a Water type with a Grass weakness will be reprinted with a Lightning weakness. Why? Because Water's weaknesses are Grass and Electric. Now I'll be talking a about Blastoise from Team Up. As you may know that Blastoise's weakness is Grass. Why? Because Blastoise is a pure Water type and its weak against Grass. So what if Blastoise can be reprinted with a Lightning weakness as a promo. The reason I think Lighting weakness should be Blastoise's weakness on a reprint is because Blastoise is weak against Electric attacks just like in the video games. That way, the Blastoise card from Team Up will have a Grass weakness while a promo reprint for Blastoise will have a Lightning weakness. Pretty cool, huh?

Now then, the reason alternate weakness reprints are perfect for Lightning weak Water cards is because most of them are weak to Grass nowadays. So how about a Lightning weakness on a Water reprint. This will make Lightning decks super happy. Especially with the rise of ElectroPower and Thunder Mountain while Grass hitting Water for weakness has been declining for a little while. Good thing Gyarados, Empoleon, Volcanion and Flying Water cards like Wingull have a Lighting weakness. So I'm happy with that.

Another good example is a Darkness weakness on a Psychic reprint. Especially stuff like Espeon and Hoopa. The only Darkness hitting for weakness these days is Ghost version of Psychic cards. Poor Darkness. Darkness cards were really good and yet Darkness cannot hit Psychic for weakness. Psychic is not Psychic's weakness it has got to stop immediately. At least Lunala did get a Darkness weakness. So kudus to that.

One last example is Ho-Oh GX. Remember Ho-Oh GX from Burning Shadows? It has a weakness to Lightning even though Ho-Oh is a Fire Pokemon. Well that's because Ho-Oh is also a Flying Pokemon. So it does have an Electric weakness and thus Ho-Oh GX is weak to Lightning. So what Ho-Oh GX does is to get a reprint with a Water weakness as Water and Electric are both Ho-Oh's weakness due to its Fire and Flying typing. So a Water weakness on a Ho-Oh GX weakness will do the trick. That way, the original Ho-Oh GX will have a Lightning weakness while a reprint will have a Water weakness instead.

Bottom line, alternate weakness will be a game changer for weakness and this will allow weaknesses to diversify. So what do you think about my idea about aliterate weakness reprints? Do you like the idea of an alternate weakness reprint? Sound off below!
Here is a list with some of my favorite Pokemon secrets and facts that I've been compiling for some time. Enjoy!

Poliwag’s signature swirl pattern is meant to look like the visible intestines of tadpoles.

When Paras evolves into Parasect, the parasitic mushroom on its back actually takes over the host, which explains the Pokémon’s blank, white eyes

Pikachu’s name is a combination of the Japanese onomatopoeia for sparkle, pikapika, and the sound of squeaking, which is expressed as chūchū.

#10- Manaphy. The reason is because Manaphy's nickname is "Prince of the sea" suggesting that Manaphy is male, so I believe the gender ratio for Manaphy should be 100% male.

#9- Numerous Fighting-type Pokémon. It's just so hard me to picture Fighting-type Pokémon as female because they look so masculine. However there are some exceptions such as Scraggy, Heracross, Meditite, Medicham,, and Mega Loppunny to name a few, but for the most part I think most Fighting-types should be 100% male.

#8- Phione. Phione should be 100% male in my opinion.

#7- Braixen, Snubull, Mawile, and multiple others....

Ash, Brock, and Misty were on their way back to Olivine City when they passed a trainer's school and saw a girl with long dark brown hair. They recognized her as Giselle and she was training with her Graveler and Cubone when Ash, Brock, and Misty entered the trainer's school. Are you going to ask Giselle for a battle, Brock? asked Ash You bet i am. It's time i tested out my skills in battle against her. I'll use Onix for my battle against her. said Brock (Brock and Giselle's battle) Onix! Go! said Brock, sending in Onix An Onix, hmm? In that case i'll go with my strongest Pokemon Graveler!...

Mew left down a metronome before I step on it.
Mew left down a metronome before I step on it.
I was walking home from school, I found a metronome and I stepped on it and it vanished. I knew that what it was. I was jumping in pain and saw a long pink tail poking a hole through my pants.

I grew pink ears who came out of my hair. I was starting to turn pink and my hands became Mew hands. My feet began to stretch and we're rabbit like feet.

My green eyes turned blue and I'm now a Mew. I shrunk down: 5 feet tall, 4 feet tall, 3 feet tall, 2 feet tall and I'm now 1 foot tall and 4 inches. I began to float and went out of my clothes and flew away.

A lot of you know that my favorite franchise of all time is Pokemon,a series dearly beloved by many.Few games claim to harness it's gravitational pull. This golden goose has soled millions upon millions of copies, spawned countless varieties of merchandise and touched the hearts of multiple kids and adults alike. How many franchises do you know the bridged the generational gap?
The creatures in the game are huge part why I love it.There have been hundreds of Pokemon introduced over the years and...

Gym Leaders. The boss battles of the Pokémon games. And do Iove me some boss battles. The gym leaders are sort of a mixed bag though. Most don’t pose much of a threat, while others are so hard to beat they’re downright cheap. As such, coming up with 5 awesome gym leaders top 5 list won’t be easy, much less arranging them in a suitable order. But I’m willing to take that challenge. Oh, and don’t expect to find any of the gym leaders of Pokémon X and Y on here. I never fully beat that game, and the ones I did beat weren’t that impressive. Anyway, here we go!

Number 5: Cheren
