Don’t judge a book by it’s cover…its title may give the readers a different connotation of what this book is really about. It may give the readers an idea of discrimination, fury, preconception or judgment, but on the contrary Pride and Prejudice is simply just the greatest love story of all time.
Pride and Prejudice, written by Jane Austen, revolves around the courtship and marriage among the noble in the 19th century. Its main characters are the spunky, witty and "bewitching" Elizabeth Bennet and the proud yet bashful Mr. Darcy. Basically, their courtship takes their readers to an emotional roller coaster ride and a million goosebumps and tingles. I would say that being a fan of love stories, this one goes right to the top as one of my favorites. What was amazing about this novel is how Jane Austen weaved her words, in a way that the readers can also relate with the emotions that the characters are feeling. She also was able to describe the places and events that occurred in the novel perfectly, as if the reader were right there with the characters.
