PRINCE'S P.O.V.
"WAIT!" I yelled before the nurse could tell us the gender. I started to think while Elle looked at me strangely. Wait. What was I doing, again? I wanted to know if it was a boy or girl! "Nevermind!" I added on quickely.
"Well, the baby is a-"
"Ms. Robinson? We need you down the hall immediately." A doctor walked into the room, interrupting her.
"Oh. This is an emergency. I'll be back right away." The nurse told us, getting up and leaving. Elle took a deep sigh.
"Ahh! The suspense is killing me!" She said, exhausted.
"I know, me too." I replied, slowly sitting back in my chair.
"What do you want it to be?" I looked over at Elle. I really didn't care. But for some reason I just had a feeling it would be a girl. A girl with long blonde hair, green eyes, small nose, perfect skin, pretty much everything that described Elle.
"I don't care, as long as the baby is healthy." I told her, grabbing her hand.
ELLE'S P.O.V.
"I don't care, either." I replied, squeezing Prince's hand. I closed my eyes and imagined our baby. It was a boy. He looked exactly like Prince. Kind chocolate brown eyes, full lips, brown hair, tall, and a sensitive face.
"Ok, I'm back! Sorry for the delay!" The nurse, Ms. Robinson, walked back in with a clipboard. Prince and I both sat up immediatly. "So, you still want to know?" She asked.
"Yes!" I replied very quickely.
"Alright. Well, the baby is a boy. Congratulations! I'll give you two a moment." Nurse Robinson told us. My face lit up the moment she told me that. I could just see baby Luke smiling. It was exactly like Prince's. The sound of his laughter was exactly like Prince's. I looked over at Prince. He was beaming, pure happiness written on his face.
"What should Luke's middle name be?" I asked.
"Hmm... Colin? No? Alright." Prince started to list names and judged them on my facial expressions. "Bobby? Aaron? No? Really? I liked that o-"
"No, it's not that I don't like them, Prince. It's just that they don't have any... well, whats the word I'm looking for... meaning. That's it. They don't have any meaning. Can't we give him a middle name thats been in the family?" I interrupted Prince.
"Oh. I see. What do you want it to be?"
"Well were definatly not going to name him after my jackass father. Why not Luke Michael?" Oops. Prince was still really touchy about his dad. I don't think he's ever fully gotten over him. You can tell by just the look in his eye's whenever you just say his name. I've tried to help him, but all he does is push me away furthur.
"Yeah. I like that." Prince surprisinly said, a slight smile growing on his face. "Luke Michael Jackson. You have a cute name, ya know that?" Prince started talking to my stomach.
"Jackson? Why not Bryant?" I asked. I didn't really mind, I was just wondering.
"Oh, well, did you really want it to be Luke Michael Bryant? Or do you want it to be Luke Michael Bryant- Jackson? Or Luke Michael Jackson- Bryant?" Prince started to ask.
"No, no. It's fine! I was just wondering. Luke Michael Jackson sounds way better, anyways."
Eventually, we arrived home.
"How did it go?!" Paris greeted us.
"IT'S A BOY!" Prince yelled, and almost immediately Jaafar ran down.
"Seriously? Yeah man!" He hugged Prince, and Paris hugged me. "You're naming him Jaafar, by the way." He added.
"Hell no, man! We already agreed on something!" I heard Prince playfully argue with Jaafar as Paris walked out of the room with me, into the backyard.
"LUKE? SERIOUSLY? JAAFAR IS WAY BETTER!" Jaafar yelled as he walked over to me. He was just joking, of course.
"Yes. Luke. When you have a kid, you can name him after yourself, alright bud?" I said, punching him on the arm gently.
"Whatever." Jaafar said walking away.
"So, your excited about the baby, huh?" Paris tried to make convorsation.
"Yeah. But I'm still sort of nervous." I replied, pulling a leaf off of a tree and ripping it to shreds.
"I know, I'd be too. But everythings going to be fine."
"I know, I know. Don't you worry your pretty little head off. It's not like I'm going to get an abortion." I said. I couldn't imagine doing that to my baby. It's like killing it. I don't want my baby to die! I shivered at the thought. The baby had brought Prince and I so close together. It was our Luke and I couldn't imagine not having him now.
