Rose sat in the library reading ''How to succed in Quidditch'' silently. Or at least she was,anyway. She was up until-''Hey, Rosie! What are you up to?'' Her cousin Albus asked. ''What does it look like I'm doing Albus? Im studying!'' ''As if she ever does anything else!'' James said, jumping into the conversation and grinning. ''James, do you ever not bother people?'' Rose asked. ''Quidditch?'' Albus had obviously looked at her book, and was now snickering at the thought of Rose Weasley on a broomstick flying around a Quidditch Pitch. ''Why not?'' She asked. ''I mean, my dad was a Quidditch player...'' ''Yeah, but he was 15! You are only 11, Rose. First years never make the House teams.'' Albus replied. ''Well, I want a challenge.'' Rose replied smartly.''Well, I guess we won't be able to change her mind, Al. Dad always said that she was like Aunt Hermione that way.'' Rose looked up from her book. ''James, MY Dad said that, not yours.'' James paused, then spoke again. ''Look Rose, you know I have a bad memory!'' Madam Pince hurried over. ''If you three don't keep your voices down, I'll throw the lot of you out!'' ''Sorry Madam Pince...'' The three of them mumbled. ''Just keep those voices down!'' She said, then went away to sort out some books. Rose looked back at her cousins. ''Well, if you two don't mind, I guess I'm going back to the Gryffindor Common Room to study.'' She huffed. ''Rose wait,'' Albus said, grabbing her wrist,''We didn't mean to be unsupportive,we just are trying to tell you that not many First Years make the Quidditch Teams.'' He said gently. ''Your Dad did.'' Rose whispered. ''Yeah, like he was normal in any way,'' James said,rolling his eyes. ''Well, we'll see how good the try-outs go then.'' Rose said grinning. ''Louis better watch out, Rose Weasley's coming at full speed ahead.''



5 Weeks Later
''Rose,you nervous?'' Albus asked while him and Rose were walking down the main corridor out to the Quidditch Pitch. ''A bit.'' Rose choked out. ''Are you sure? You look like you're gonna pass out any second.'' Albus commented. ''Im fine, Albus, I told you.'' Rose argued. ''Quidditch Tryouts, over here!'' Louis called. ''I'll be watching,'' Albus said, and went off to the stands. Rose looked around. She only reconized Lucy Brown, 3rd year, and Louis, who was the Captain of the Gryffindor Team, who was her cousin. ''Alright, everyone do a couple of laps around the field!'' Louis called. Everyone mounted their brooms and shot up into the sky. Rose did the same,but sped around the field 11 Times while all the other students could only do 9. ''Rose was the best in that one!'' Louis exclaimed. They then did Keeping around the rings, and Lucy did the best on that task. After a couple more tests, they finally stopped. A few weeks later, Rose was having dinner in the Great Hall when Albus came in. ''Rose!'' He exclaimed.'' You mad the team!'' Rose and all her friends ran out to look at the list. Rose was a seeker!!! ''That's what I wanted to be!'' Rose said gleefully. ''It's amazing!'' Aimee Godsey, one of her friends spoke up. ''Rose,everyone saw you. You were bloody brillant!'' Rose was beaming. ''Thanks,you guys are the best friends ever!'' She said. Rose gasped. ''I'm gonna go write Mum and Dad!'' She exclaimed. And so, Rose ran off to the Gryffindor Common Room, to go write her parents her very good news.
