Renesmee's POV:
I was getting tired so I decided to go lie in the bedroom and read a book.
I grabbed my book off the shelf and laid back against the many feathered pillows. I opened my mom's copy of Romeo and Juliet and began reading. it got to quiet in the room and the silence was bothering me so I got up and opened the double doors that lead out to the balcony on the far side of the room.
When I laid back down it was really nice to read and listen to the waves crashing at the bottom of the cliff that the house sat on. The salty sea air filled my bedroom making me remember the moments Jacob and I had on the beach.
After that thought I didn't get into reading my book as I started to miss Jake. He wasn't going to be back until the day after tomorrow. He told me he was going to try to stop by the house but he didn't know if he could get past Sam.
Sam. Ugh. Sam was not my favorite of the wolves. Jacob had his own pack but Sam still felt the need to control Jake. To be an alpha it meant that he could call his own shots and control his team, not take orders from another alpha.
As I thought about the many things running through mind I felt my eyes starting to droop and eventually I fell asleep.
Jacob's POV:
My pack and I had split up and were running on separate ends of the reservation. There was nothing out here for us to be concerned about but we still, according to Sam, had to run the perimeters of the reservation.
I could make my own calls with my pack but Sam still had some authority over me. Sam had this thing about always being in control no matter what. I have a feeling it’s because he was the alpha of all of us before I rebelled. I don’t think he can stand not being in control. I hate the fact that he still controls me but I will let him as I don’t feel like getting in a fight with him.
I was so ready to go home at this point. I was tired, bored and I missed Renesmee. I know I had only been out here for a couple of hours but right now that was a couple of hours to long. I was hoping Sam would let me go and check in on Renesmee, or I would hope he would be distracted so that I could go see her. If knew I was with her instead of fulfilling my duties he would have my head. There really wasn't anything much worse then a really pissed off Sam.
"Jacob, my pack and I are heading back to my place for something to eat and a break before we head back out. You and the pack coming?" Sam thought rang through my head like a fire truck siren.
"Uh, ya we'll come. Hey do you mind if I go see Renesmee real quick?" I thought back skidding to a stop in the middle of the forest.
"Oh come on Jacob you just saw her four hours ago." Sam complained.
"And I want to see here again." I thought sternly.
"Fine. You have fifteen minutes." was Sam's final thought before he phased out. I smiled and phased out as well. I was near our house so it was easy for me to run back not as a wolf.
When I reached the house everything was quiet but not an abnormal quiet; peaceful quiet. I went into the house rather quickly as I really wanted to see Renesmee. I looked around the bottom floor quietly not wanting to scare her but she wasn't there so I started up the stairs.
When I went to our bedroom she was asleep on the bed with a book folded open across her chest. I stood in the doorway for a minute and smiled before I walked over to her.
I gently, without moving the bed or her, climbed in next to her. I laid my hand against her cheek and saw exactly what she was dreaming about. Our wedding.
She dreamed of every detail and every thought, every scene and every moment all lay out in her head. Seeing all of this made me smile. It warmed my heart to know she still thought and dreamed about that day.
I gently pulled my hand away from her cheek as her eyes started to flutter open.
"Jake..." she said in a whisper staring up at me. I smiled down at her, I didn’t know what to say the dream she was having still filled my mind.
"Why are you home?" she asked with a smile.
"I wanted to see you." I answered. She smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck pulling me down so she could kiss me.
"I have to show you something." She chimed excitedly, breaking the kiss. I laughed and nodded my head as she leaped out of the bed grabbing my hand.
"Whoa" she said as she stumbled backwards, my hands quickly jetting out to catch her. "Stood up to fast." She chuckled. I shook my head with a smile and leaned down to kiss her on the forehead. She smiled then continued to pull me down the hall way.
"What-" I started as we came up to a white door at the end of a hallway.
"Just close your eyes." She cut in. I gave her a confused expression.
"Just do it." She defended. I sighed but closed my eyes.
I heard the door open then she pulled me into the room.
"Okay." She said, queuing me to open my eyes.
When I was looked around the room I was amazed. It was a huge white and pink nursery.
"Ness, did you do this?" I asked. With a smile, Nessie shook her head.
"Alice and Esme must have known." She replied.
I was amazed. I couldn’t believe what I was looking at. Esme and Alice did this for our babies. Looking at this room made me realize that the twins must be girls. I turned to Renesmee and smiled.
"They are going to be just as beautiful as you." I said leaning down and kissing her.
