My turn for the Q&A questions! As usual I may not have answered all the same ones as the rest of you, just the ones I felt I could give the most interesting answers to. No point in answering something, for example, where the answer is just "no"... Shall we begin?

If you could be any celebrity, who would it be?
I would be myself but as a celebrity, of course.

What is your favorite junk food?
Chocolate bars or little cakes – but let's not call it “junk”; let's just eat it and enjoy it!

What movie did you see that you were disappointed in, but everyone loved?
Actually, there were two in close succession: “Into the Spider-Verse” which was so well-loved by audiences, but I guess I was missing something, because I just couldn't get into it; and the live-action “Aladdin” remake, which I think just roped in un-discerning audiences on the premise of having the same name and general plotline as its predecessor (which was actually good and had those plot elements for a real reason), and thus tricked the audiences into thinking they'd just watched the same story with the same characters. There was actually a third disappointing movie in this set: “Yesterday", which turned out to really have nothing to do with the Beatles! But I never got the sense with that one that “everyone else” loved it.

Are you good at keeping secrets?
I think so. I won't tell something that's been given into my confidence. You can trust me.

If you were reincarnated as an animal, what would you be?
Hopefully a tiger! Or a house cat would be good, too.

Do you believe in horoscopes?
I believe in astrology. Horoscopes, I think there is something in them, but with the newspaper kind they have to be very general in order to apply to everyone born under that sign, so I think they won't be quite as accurate as if you had a personal horoscope done by an astrologer. Also I'd use horoscopes more as an indication of what sort of energy might be in the air, not to predict the future, which I think is too dependent on your own choices to work very well. I have seen newspaper horoscopes that were oddly on-point for me, though!

How do you feel about Disney?
I didn't get into it or even know that much about it until a couple years ago, but now I love it. My favourite Disney movie is Aladdin (the proper animated one from 1992; I can't believe I have to specify that).

Have you ever had a tree house as a kid?
I didn't even like climbing trees. And I never had a tree that would have been good for treehouse building. I'm not so much of an outdoors person.

Have you ever thought of baby names?
I have, actually, even though I don't want kids – it's fun to think about what I would name them if I were going to have any.

What songs take you back to your teen years?
Probably any Beatles song would, since I got into them when I was 14.

Would you ever let your parents pick a date for you?
No, I wouldn't let anybody but me pick my date. If anyone else picks them, you're missing out on that very important chemistry, on the spark. Having someone else think the two of you have traits in common and might logically go together is so... clinical. So unromantic.

What is your favorite thing to make to eat?
I make bacon and eggs (usually with turkey bacon) and eat that. Also little pizzas on any round bread I can find.

Are you a good judge of character? Have you ever really got it wrong?
I can't think of a time I was proven to be wrong about someone – that doesn't mean it's never happened. I may have just never found out. I think I am a good judge of character, because my instincts about such things are pretty sharp.

Do you remember cootie catchers?
Yes, although I never called them that. The name I heard was “fortune tellers”.

What is your favorite scent?
I like chocolate, vanilla, baked goods, stuff like that. Also pine.

What is your favorite ethnic food?
Probably shawarma.

If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?
Buy tons and tons of dolls and figurines. Buy a whole new wardrobe with lots of pink. Redecorate my room. And so on. This is after setting aside ten percent for charity and another ten percent to invest and grow – but then it's party time. (I think we need to dismantle any idea of it being shameful to want to spend money on yourself.)

What TV show or movie to you quote the most?
It depends – I know I quote Star Wars frequently. Actually I mostly quote Calvin and Hobbes and that's a comic strip.

What world problem would you love to fix?
The idea that you absolutely "have to" go to school and then college and then work a nine-to-five and that if you don't love every second of it that's just normal... Tying into that, the whole mentality that you have to give up all these fun, happy things like playing, or liking the colour pink (?!), after a certain age.

Are you a cat person or a dog person?
Cat.

What is your idea of a perfect winter day?
Mild and pleasant, with snow on the ground. There shall be sledding, snowman building, and hot chocolate involved.

Have you ever performed for anyone?
Yes, I've done open mics, and I was in three elementary school plays which I'm not sure count (they gave me tiny little minor roles even though I was the only one there who could actually act!), and a play put on by a library program.

What would you love to learn about?
What the world was like during different time periods and in different places. That stuff is fascinating.

Do you like musicals? What is one of your favorites?
Actually, even though I don't like tragedies, my favourite musical soundtrack remains “Les Miserables”.

What movies make you cry?
“Field of Dreams” did, plus a large number of Disney movies. I don't cry at tragic endings. (I've never seen “Titanic”, but am pretty sure I would not cry.)

What type of house design do you like? Traditional, modern, cabin?
Palatial. The more interest and decoration, the better.

How did you get your name?
I was named after the Eric Clapton song, which is cool. I am proud of that.

And that's all from me for today. Thanks for reading; hope you enjoyed!
