Selena Gomez‘s stepdad, Brian Teefey, was in the BOP and Tiger Beat office today with Christina Grimmie, who stopped by for a special interview and performance (but more on THAT later this week…). Since Sel’s new video for “Hit the Lights” premiered today, we naturally had to tell

Brian how much everyone at BOP and Tiger Beat loves the video – and he spilled to us that he totally loves it too! He even shared his favorite scene: The one where Selena is dancing with all of the pink balloons!

Imposters confused fans with a series of profanity-riddled messages, including, "THE KID ON 4CHAN.ORG IS A LIEN F**KER HE DIDNT HACK S**T!!!!," and, "This message is for puha, YOU SUCK B**CH!!!" The unauthorised posts have since been deleted.

The first mention of "Wizards of Waverly Place" did get the second biggest crowd reaction of the night when Alex Russo's real-life counterpart, Selena Gomez, played the Arizona State Fair Sunday at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

But she got an even more enthusiastic audience response to the news that "A Year Without Rain," her latest single, was up next on the set list.

And that speaks well of her odds for crossing over from beloved Disney Channel icon into something more than just a part-time pop star.
"A Year Without Rain" is actually the second single off the 18-year-old singer's second album...
