Brrrrr (shivering) pet names just do not work with Severus

I agree with nene72. Except for the natural "Sev" (given by Lily by the way), everything else is just ridiculous. Even the nickname given by the Marauders was not as deep silly as those.

I saw "Sevy-poo"in fanfics. I hate that.

This one makes me cringe like mad! And "Sevy-baby"

Yeah, "Sevy-poo" sets my teeth on edge.

yuck. I wish people would PPLLLEAAASE not give him nicknames. The ONLY names for him are his name,Sev, and half-blood prince. They are the only names that give him the dignity that he deserves.

I agree with snowwhite2 the only names that fit him are Severus, Sev and Half-Blood Prince everything else is an insult..

it annoys me greately, doesn't matter who and how and where says it. I hate any kind of nicknames for him. I'm even not very fond of the nickname 'Sev' - just makes me cringe and reminds me of Lily. Hell, I can't even call him Severus without cringing. I'm weird. I usually call him Snape (which is less than respectful, but it just fits) or Professor Snape. Severus Snape as a full name is a last resort.

I dunno man, there's just something sexy about "Severus" whispered all breathy-like.

Ah yes, and let's not forget him being called "Slytherus" during a broadcast of Potterwatch! in DH1. ;)

I actually *like* Slytherus, and it may even show up in one of my fanfics maybe, though I would never call him that. Unless, of course, he liked it. Which I doubt. But you never know...hey, it could be one of those "security" names, you know, like when Arthur used Molly's pet name as a "security name". Nearly fell out of my chair when I read it. "Mollywobbles". HAH! Ah, yeah, anyway, if you make enough positive associations with the name...starting with oh I don't know, maybe...a bottle of the finest mulled wine, really hot lingerie, and extraordinary sex...

Call him Snape, Severus, Sev, Price, Potions Master, Half Blood Prince, or Lord Awesome. I can just imagine Snape reading this list and making a sarcastic remark about the intelligence of teenage girls.

Hi HATE Sevy-Poo and sevy-baby with a passion. I tend to say Severus when talking about him i to think it sounds deliciously sexy :D i will abbreviate in writing to Sev and if im doing a fanfic Sevy if the person is extremely and i mean extremely close to him :)
I dont like calling him Snape at all the only time i really do is if in writing someone like Sirius is speaking
