Shadowhunters gets official premiere date

 YA book series, is set to premiere Jan. 12 on Freeform (currently ABC Family).

Ahead of the premiere, a “Making of Shadowhunters” segment will air Dec. 6 at 9:30 p.m. ET.

 human-angel hybrids who hunt demons. After her mother is kidnapped, Clare encounters a new world of faeries, vampires, werewolves, and warlocks.
