SHINee had double the reason to celebrate at the 2013 20’s Choice Awards, as the boys took home the 20’s Performance Award and wished maknae Taemin a happy birthday.

After putting on a colorful performance at this year’s award show, held at Ilsan′s Kintex on July 18, SHINee was named the winner of the 20’s Performance Award, beating out Shinhwa, Girls’ Generation, 4minute and SISTAR.

The boys took to the stage to thank SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man as well as the choreographers who helped the group bring hit single Dream Girl to life on the stage.

Following their acceptance speech, the SHINee members broke out into song to wish Taemin a happy birthday, making the day even special for the group’s maknae.

The 2013 20’s Choice Awards is an award show held to honor the hottest stars in Korean entertainment.
