Scarlet Malone Chapter 38
Edward got out of the car and came over and to open my door. 
What are you doing here? I asked.
Well your dad called and said that you needed to spend the night at my house and be there by dark. Edward said.
Yeah yeah, I know. I said as I rolled my eyes.
Go get your stuff so we can go back to the house. Edward said.
I'm not going. I said as I unlocked the door with my mind.
But Josh said that you had to. Edward said.
Edward, I am staying here! I said as I ran up to my bed room. 
I quickly slammed my door closed and locked it with my mind.
Scarlet. Edward said as he knocked on the door. 
I want to stay here. I said.
What's wrong? Edward asked.
Go home. I said as I held back tears. 
Scarlet, honey. Edward said.
Don't honey me. I screamed as I started crying.
Alice told me that I could get her to come home. Edward muttered behind the door.
Scarlet, open the door. Edward said softly.
My heart said yes while my mind screamed no. 
I had the lock in the middle since I could not decide what to do. Edward turned the door knob and it unlocked. 
Edward didn't know what to do. He wanted to come over and give me a hug or he thought about calling Alice. I tried to find some pajamas but couldn't find since tears were still coming. I slipped my pants off and pulled my shirt off and just slipped into my bed. 
Scarlet tell me what's wrong. Edward said.
I wanna go home and I want to be with mom. I said as I felt more tears prick my eyes an I pulled the covers over my head. 
Edward went over and pulled out some pajamas.
Put these on. You will be more comfy. Edward said as he pulled the covers away from my face a little. 
I put them on like he said. 
Now tell me what's wrong. Edward said in a soft voice.
I want my mother and more than ever. I had to stop myself. I didn't want him to find out that I just wanted him to hold me like he use too. 
I sank back into my pillow as if I was escaping from this nightmare that I call my life. Edward was walking around the room stuffing stuff in a dufflebag. He grabbed clothes, iPod, laptop, and just anything else. 
What are you doing? I asked. 
I'm taking you my house or our house. Whatever you call my house. Edward said. 
No I want to stay here. I said in between sniffles. 
No you need to go home and be with a family. Edward said. 
I need to he alone. I said. 
You have been alone for too many years. Edward said. 
I got up and grabbed different clothes than what he packed me. He packed some color clothes. I put them back since I knew I would want to wear black tomorrow. I grabbed a my black O'neil sweat shirt and put on some converses. I looked aweful but than again I was just going to Edward's house. 
We got to the car and got in. I turned my seat warmer on high as it would go. I loved having seats warmers since I Iived up north. It didn't take long to get to Edward's house. I got out of the car and walked inside. 
Good night. I said as I walked up the stairs. 
Jasper stared at me wide eyed. I guess I had black make up run down my cheeks. Edward was all ready in my room and taking everything out of the duffle bag and putting them in their places. I saw he was in my room so I walked into his room and grabbed the cd that he was playing when I first met him. I took it back to my room and stuck into the computer and played it. 
I put onto my iPod. That was probably the only type of normal music I had on my iPod. I put it on repeat and untucked my cover. I jumped in the and covered myself up. 
Can you close the door behind you? I asked Edward as he stuck my underwear in a drawer.
Sure. Goodnight. See you in the morning. Edward said as he closed the door.
