Scarlet Malone Chapter 41
Edward's POV
Alice was having one of her visions. It showed Scarlet and Jesse in a really bad car wreck. They were hurt pretty bad. Carisle was going to call us and tell us to come down to the hospital.
Bella I am sorry but I have to! I said.
I hated leaving her.
Why? She asked.
I have to get home to Esme. I said.
It was the truth she was be crying ( if she could ) and she would need me.
Okay. Love you. Will you come back to night? Bella asked.
I will try my love. I said.
I kissed her lightly on the lips and ran to my car.
I cranked it fast as possible and sped home.
Alice! I said as I came through the door.
We are leaving. She said.
Everyone knows except for the people at the hospital. I called Rose and Emmett, they are on there way. We are going to go visit Carisle. Alice said as she got into her car with Jasper and Esme.
Okay, I will meet you all there. I said as I ran back to my car.
This was aweful. I hope it is nothing to serious. I hated thinking of the worst but you just never knew.
I got to the hospital and park.
Hey Carisle. We need to talk. I said as we headed for his office.
What's wrong? Carisle asked worried.
It will have to wait till we are in your office. I said.
It took long to get there because we had to walk a human pace.
Scarlet and Jesse have been in a wreck. They were hit by a drunk driver. I didn't see if they were going to be okay. I had to get home and see the rest of the family. I said.
Oh no! I will have to work on Scarlet and Josh will have to work on Jesse. Carisle said.
I think Jesse my have the worst of injuries. I said.
I have to go they are fixing to get here. He said as he turned his pager off.
Okay. I said as I follow him out of his office.
I went to the hospital entrence and met up with family.
What did Carisle say? Esme asked worried.
Not really anything. He was shocked. I said.
Lets goto the waiting room. I said as I wrapped my arm around Esme.
Alice are they going to be okay? Esme whispered.
Alice was trying to have a vision but couldn't see the future.
I don't know. Alice said.
Esme just burried her head into my shoulder.
I am sure they will be fine. I said trying to sound resurring.
Emmett and Rose just arrived. They had been out hunting.
Have you heard any news? Emmett asked worried.
I shook my head as I tried to comfort Esme.

Hours past had past and we had no new news.

Carisle walked into the waiting and we all stood up.
Scarlet is in a coma, I don't know how long she will be in one. She is still in ICU. Carisle said.
What about Jesse? Esme asked full of worry.
I am not allowed to share information. Carisle said regretfully.
Josh came out and spoke with the Bourne family.
I have tried my best but he has very little chances of living. Josh told Mrs Bourne.
Luckly Joel caught her before she could fall.
I am so sorry. If you will follow me you can see him. Josh said as tears formed in his eyes.
They followed them back.
Poor Scarlet! She is going to be so crushed. She is going to think it was her fault. I hope the Bournes don't blame her when it wasn't her fault.
Alice, will Carisle let us see Scarlet? I whispered.
In a couple of hours. Alice said whishing it would be now.
I had to call Bella because it was getting time for me to go to her house. SHould I stay just incase Scarlet wakes up or should I go to Bella? Very hard choses. Scarlet might not want me here. She is always having those moments that are very somtanious. Like the other night when I said "honey". That hit her soft spot, her mom you to call her that. She missed her mom terrible, it was horrible how bad she missed her. They must have been really close.
My cellphone started ringing. It was Bella.
Hey love. I said.
Hey is everything okay with Scarlet? Bella asked worried.
I think so. She is in a coma but Carisle doesn't know when she will wake up. I said.
What about Jesse? Bella asked.
I don't know about him. Carisle couldn't tell us about him because he had to get his parents constint or something. I said.
Oh okay. Are you going to come tonight? Bella asked full of hope.
I don't know. Esme really needs me here. I said.
Your right you should stay down there. Bella said.
I am sorry but thank you for understanding. I have to go here comes Josh. I said.
OKay, up date me when you can. Love you. Bella said.
I will try, love you more. I said.
Than Bella hung up.
I am so sorry to hear about Scarlet. Esme said as she stood up and walked over too him.
Thank you for staying but you could go home if you like and I can update you when needed. Josh said.
It is okay, I would rather stay here. Esme said.
Has anything change? I asked as my heart filled with hope.
They think she might wake up in a few hours. Josh said.
When will she be in a room? Emmett asked.
They are trying to get her into a room now. Then once she wakes up you can come into the room. Josh said.
