A Girl Named Lacey Chapter Seven
First day of school is always the hardest. I like to blend in and not stand out. On the first day or first month people try and talk to you or they are always talking about you behind your back.
Esme was waking Lacey up. Alice and Rose would fix Lacey's hair and make up, and than they would pick out her clothes. I guess that Lacey was use to this happening and didn't hate it. They have been doing it since the first day 9th grade. She never complained about any of it.
Are you excited, Lacey? Alice asked as she applied blush.
Yeah, I guess. Lacey shrugged.
Don't worry when they stare. They are simple drooling over our beauty. Rose said.
Yeah, I'm sure they are droolling over my beauty. They are looking at you two. Lacey said as she check her lip gloss.
Not just Rose and I, they are looking at you too. Alice said.

Lacey truely was beautiful but she didn't see it.
What cars are we taking? Lacey asked she went to the bathroom to change. I usely sat and watched Alice and Rose apply make up and hair.
Emmett and Jasper are taking the Jeep, Rose and I are taking the BMW, and you and Edward are taking the motorcyle, I think. Alice said.
Edward don't you want to ride with the guys? Lacey asked.
It doesn't matter to me as long as I get to school. I said.
Oh, I want to ride with Rose and Alice. Lacey said.
Sorry it's only has two seats and Alice called it. Rose said.
Fine, I'll take my car. Lacey said.
Do you want me to ride with you so that way you want be alone? I asked.
No it's fine, have fun with the guys. I'll be fine. She said.
I really wanted to ride with Lacey but she didn't want me to. She either wanted to be alone. I guess she felt like she didn't have anyone to ride with. I think she wanted Alice or Rose to ride with her, like a sister or a best friend.
I watched Alice and Jasper kiss goodbye and than Rose and Emmett started to kiss goodbye but they started making out. I can't wait till I'll be the one doing that. I cleared my thoat to let them know that I was still here. All the sudden Lacey laid on the horn and than let up.
Don't worry you can see each other in 15 minutes and that's at the maximum. Lacey said.
Rose rolled her eyes and gave Emmett a very passionate kiss while Lacey hit the horn again.
What is Lacey feeling? I asked Jasper.
Excited but nervous about school. Then she is also feeling annoyed by Rose and Emmett making out. Jasper said.
We followed Alice and Rose and than Lacey followed Emmett, Jasper and I. We pulled out onto the main rode and I hear Lacey base being turned up. I looked at her and she smiled to me. If I had a heart it would have busted out of my chest.
We pulled into the school parking lot and everyones thought flooded my thoughts.
Things like "who are they", "he is hot, is he single", "she's hot, is she single", "who's the girl in the car behind the jeep", "wow those are nice cars", and my favorite "are those actual new people or am I just high". Everyone stared and everyone started whispering about us. A guy walked over to Lacey's car a opened her car door.
Hey, my name is Cory and welcome to Bellar High. He said.
Loser! I mumbled.
I heard Emmett and Rose laugh.
I had to ignore this boy or else I was going to rip his head off. It bothered me that Lacey was actually flirting back with him. She had been here five minutes and already had a guy's number. This is ridiculous, back then you were lucky to even get to meet such a nice young lady. But a lot has changed since then. Such as cars, housing, men and women. Not many men open doors for ladies these days, all gentlemen should and do that.
Edward, calm down it will all pass over. Alice said.
I don't want Lacey dating him. I said.
You can't choose who she dates. Rose said.
I can't but Carisle and Esme sure can. I smiled.
She's gonna hate you for that. You realize that don't you? Emmett asked.

For once I was actually dreading class. Lacey would probably sit by that guy and I would either be stuck myself or sitting with some girl that won't stop talking.
I sat at a desk and stared at my text book.
You do realize you are reading your text book upside down and backwards? Lacey asked. But than again you can probably do that. Lacey stated.
"Uh huh yeah"
What's wrong? She asked.
"Nothing, why" I asked confused.
Oh, I don't know, maybe because you're sitting here looking at your text book upside down and backward when you probably know more about the stuff in there than what they put in there. She said.
Sorry, I was just thinking. I said.
Must of be something important since you ignored me a little. She said.
I'm sorry, it's just that-
Attion class! The teacher said.
"That what?" She wrote.
"I'll tell you later, you should probably listen." I informed her.
"Why? I have a great totur. :) Lacey wrote.
"I can't help you forever." I wrote back.

She stuck her tounge out and turned towards the teacher.
I couldn't believe that she had been here less than an hour and already had a guy's number. It drove me insane! I hate that I have to sit here and watch this.
