Carter, Peter Pan, and The Lost Boys Chapter Twenty One
Nadan started saying something. I couldn't understand it. The boy looked down at me and than looked back up at Nadan and Wildcat.
Get off of me! I demanded.
He can understand you. Wildcat said.
He can understand you! Tell him to get off me! I yelled.
No can do. Wildcat said.
Nadan! I squeilled.
Nadan and Wildcat both started talking faster in their language.
The boy slowly got off me but still wasn't sure about me. I got up and started picking leaves in my hair.
Are they all out? I asked.
All but one. Wildcat said.
I started brushing my fingers through my hair trying to get the leaves out.
Wildcat came over and grabbed a leaf on top of my hair. It was tangled with my hair.
There. He said.
Thanks. I said stuttering
As I looked up at him, his eyes were a beautiful shade of brown. His hair cropped his face just right.
Everything seemed to disappear and it felt like it was just us there. He stared into my eyes.
Are you okay? He said with a worried looked.
I couldn't be better. I smiled.
I heard someone clear their throat but we ignored it. Until we heard them clear it two more times.
We both snapped our heads over to look at the people who interupted us.
Carter, we need to talk. Nadan said.
Umm, okay, speak. I said.
I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Tiger Lily and I. I had feelings for you and I didn't want to tell you about Tiger Lily and I. Because I wanted you to feel the same way about me. But now I have accepted that I am suppose to marry Tiger Lily. He said.

I smiled back knowing he was kiddding.
Well I better get back to the tribe because they will be wondering where I am. And if they find out I am talking to you, I might get in trouble. He said.

I watched him leave and than left.
