I was scared about going out with Damon. Damon likes to drink a lot and well Jeremy is try to stop. I didn't want it to be this hard on his first day of quieting. I knew Jeremy want a beer but I think he didn't want me to see him at his week point.
Jeremy walked me home tonight.
You want a beer really bad don't you? I asked as we walked up the drive way.
Yeah. How did you know? He asked shyly.
It has to be hard to quiet drinking. Especially when Damon is drinking up a storm. I said.
Yeah, it is. But I know it will be worth it in the end. Jeremy said as he looked over at me.
I hate to change you, I want you to be you. I'm just scared something will happen. You might go to Juvenal Dentition or something worse. I said.
I know, you care. You didn't give up on me. If you believe in me that much than I know you really care for me. No one has ever cared this much! Or not since my parents have died. He said.
I do care. I said.
And I care for you. He said.
I just have one question for you. I said.
And what would that be? Jeremy asked curiously.
Do you have any beer or drugs at your house? I asked.
No, I don't keep it at my house. He said.
Where do you keep it? I asked.
Come on, it's not far from here. He said.
Okay. I said as he held my hand and pulled me close.
We walked side by side down the side walk.
I have something else to ask. I said.
Okay, go a head. Jeremy said.
Why Vicki? I asked.
She was someone who I could sort of relate with and someone I could do drugs with. He said.
Did you ever like like her? I asked.
Yeah, a little. He said.
Do you still like, like her? I asked.
Not really. You were right she was using me. He said.
I sigh quietly to myself. Relief that he didn't like her any more and he finally saw what I meant when I said he was using him.
I heard Jeremy laugh a little.
It's in here. He said as he pointed to the cemetery.
Oh. I said.
Are you going to be to scared to go in? Jeremy asked concerned.
A little. I said meekly.
It's okay, I'll be right here. He said as I felt him squeeze my hand a little.
If Jeremy can stop drinking and stop doing drugs than I could go into a cemetery at night.
I shivered at the thought of the last time I was here.
What's wrong? Jeremy asked concerned.
The last time I was here, I was here for my father's funeral. I said.
You aren't going to be to happy were I hid the stuff. He said.
Uh oh. I mumbled.
I knew you wouldn't ever come back and no one would ever come visit you're father's grave so I buried it in a box by his head stone. Jeremy said.
Well, you're smart. I said laughing a little.
Yeah, it was a good hiding place. He said.
Did you hear that? I asked.
No. But it's okay, it's probably the wind. Jeremy said.
Okay. I said trying to believe it.
Jeremy got on his hands and knees. Starting to dig the box up. I heard the bushes behind me start moving.
Jeremy did you hear that? I asked.
No, Victoria you're okay. No one is going to be out here. He said.
You're right. I'm being paranoid or I am going crazy. I said.
Yeah you are right. I shrugged.
Here start sprinkling this everywhere to get rid of it. Jeremy said as he hand me some stuff.
Okay. I shrugged and started doing what he told me to do.
Stop! We want that stuff. Someone said as they jumped out from behind us.
I threw it at them and jumped over to Jeremy.
I told you I heard something! I said.
I know. I'm sorry, I thought you were being paranoid. He said.
It's okay.
Look emo love bird, just give us the stuff and no one will get hurt. He said.
Jeremy started pouring it out of the small bag.
Give it here! The other guy said from behind us.
Jeremy continued to pour the stuff out.
The guy behind us, grabbed me and, pulled a knife out.
Jeremy walked me home tonight.
