Football practice was hard work. I never knew how much hard work it was. I thought they practice throwing the ball around and doing various plays but know they stretch, do push ups, run (a lot), and do some weird jumping jack movement where you go down do push ups, come up and do jumping jacks. It was very weird.
Hey Uley, how did football practice go? Seth asked as I came out of the girls locker room.
Tired, but good. I think. I don't really know. I said a lil' confused.
Seth let a little laugh escape his mouth.
Don't laugh. I said.
Why not? He asked.
It's not funny. I said.
Fine, I will. He said as he smiled.
Can you believe it? I asked.
What that you made the football team? Seth asked.
No, that we are seniors. I said.
Oh, that. Umm, sorta' but then again no. He said.
Yeah, it's very weird. I don't know what to do. I don't think I'm gonna be able to go to college. So I have no clue what I'm gonna do. I said.
Yeah, same here. I'm probably going to stick around here, get a job, find a wife. He said.
Ohh, who are you going to marry around here? I asked as he had trouble finding a girl.
I don't know, whoever I fall in love with. Seth said as he looked a head.
Good choice to marry someone you love. I said a little bit sarcastic.
Oh, whatever. He mumbled.
I hopped on the back of his bike and we went to his house to school work.
Want something to eat? He asked.
Seth, you know I feel about eating other peoples' food. I said.
I know but you just had a tough workout. You need to eat something. He said.
Eh, I'll eat later. I said.
Ugh! Mattie! Seth said as he threw his hands in the air.
Don't "Mattie" me. I complained.
You need to eat something. You know, stay healthy. He said.
Yeah, I know. I will get something at home. I said.
You barley had enough for breakfast this morning. He said.
I had a big lunch though. I said.
No you didn't. Seth argued.
It was for me, I don't eat like a boy. I am a girl. I said.
I know that but if you want to stay healthy you need more then one meal a day. He said as he was getting angery.
Fine, I'll eat a little something. But something small, just to make you happy. I said.
Thank you. He said.
Then straight to homework. I said.
Okay, now what do you want? He asked.
I don't know. I said.
Seth sighed in frustation.
Sorry, I can't make desicions in one second like most people. I said.
Well what do you want? He asked a little bit hateful.
I want to leave, I'm going home. I said as I gathered everything of mine up.
Mattie. He said.
Bye, Seth. See you tomorrow. I said as I walked out the front door.
Maybe. I whispered as I walked towards home.
