Finn grabbed my arm. "Marlene, you can't be serious." he whispered.

"Oh, you bet I am serious." I crossed my arms and raised my eyebrow.

"You can't be together." Finn said.

"Give me two reasons why." I frowned.

"One. You're a mammal and he's a bird," Finn paused. "Two. Skipper looks like one of those animals who'll just break your heart."

"Well, is that bad? What if he isn't one of those guys? What? Are you a racist against Skipper now? I thought you guys were friends?" I snapped.

"It's not bad and I hope he's not one of those guys and no he's not a racist and yes we are friends." Finn reacted as if I never snapped at him.

"What? Is it gonna change something in Science?" I asked.

"Ba-ha!!" Kowalski's voice made us jump. I guess Science can only recover his unconsciousness. "Actually Marlene, there is a 99.99999999 percent where it can change Science." he pulled out his chalkboard. "If you and Skipper mate, the result might be... this." Kowalski drew a.. thing that may be a sasquatch only with a beak.

"What's that?" I leaned closer at the drawing.

"That's your future baby." Kowalski said with a straight face.

"Wait... what?!" I exclaimed.

"Surprising isn't it? You see your DNAs were morphed together causing it to combine and create this." Kowalski pointed at the abomination.

"Whoa, whoa. Slow down a bit." Finn said confused.

"Ugh... what does it take to educate lower life forms?!" Kowalski hid his face in shame.

"You mean, my Marlene and his Skipper will create.... THAT?!" Finn exclaimed the same way I did.

"Yes. Can't you see the whiskers and beak? I thought it gave you a clue?" Kowalski took a quick glance at his drawing.

"Well, no. It looked like a sasquatch or the abominable snowman..." Finn scratched his head. Cool, so I'm not the only one who thinks that it looks like a sasquatch? Awesome. Just awesome.

"Terribly sorry. I never excelled in the master of arts." Kowalski hid his face in shame again.

"It's okay. I never excelled the master of arts too..." Finn patted his back.

"Yeah, he never did..." I whispered. Well, yeah it is true that he sucks at art... Everything that falls in the category of arts. He was the "Mechano & Math whiz dad". Mechano because he was so in to mechanical stuff and gadgets and math whiz because he was so engrossed in his Math. If you see his room, it's filled with posters that have Einstein's relativity and scribbles... Bah... I guess you learn a lot when you're old. Umm.. no offense, Dad.

"Anyways, about the subject," Finn faced me. "Now, I want you to be careful, Marlene. Safety first." Finn sounded uncomfortable.

"Umm... Dad if you don't wanna talk about this, it's okay. Mom beat you to it nine years ago." I managed a smile.

"Well, okay... I'm just saying that..." Finn's voice trailed off.

"Dad... I know you're very uncomfortable so I'll say it." I paused and took a deep breath.

"Huh?" Finn said confusingly.

"Dad, I'm a virgin." I smiled and gave him a thumbs up. All of them were eye-wide at the thought that I was still a virgin. So what if I haven't lost my virginity? It's either I'm waiting for that special someone or that I'm very cautious of my body... Oh well...

"Well, since that's cleared up, why don't you go off with your date..." Finn grinned.

"Loose the grin, dad. I know Julien told you that it was our month-sary." I grinned too.

"Okay fine he did. Now go along. I don't want your date to be delayed just because of my daughter's virginity."

"Dad..." I said annoyed.

"I'm, just sayin'" Finn raised his hands in surrender.



"Nice topic you had..." Skipper chuckled. "Safety first."

"Cut it." I giggled and played along with Skipper as we climbed our way to the top of the zoo clock.

"So when are you telling him the truth?" Skipper said as we sat down.

"Huh? Oh yeah... the truth." I sighed and grinned at Skipper. "He'll never know."

Skipper chuckled lightly "You do know honesty is the best policy." Skipper said as the sun's colors touched his feathers.

"Yeah, but I just couldn't hurt Finn that way If he wants me to have a boyfriend, so be it. I'll find one." I let out a deep sigh.

It was suddenly quiet. The cold sunset wind carefully brushed my fur and Skipper's feathers. The leaves were rustling as the wind came in. The orange sun was perfectly perched in front of the two animals as it was getting ready to set.

"Beautiful isn't it?" I rested my head on Skipper's shoulder.

I felt Skipper flinch and his heart race. "Yeah, It is beautiful. Beautiful like you..."

"What?!" my eyes widened and my heart raced as Skipper's last words rung inside my head.

"Look, I should tell you something." Skipper's voice was shaking.

"What is it?" I said, avoiding eye contact with Skipper. Uh... I really don't like where this is going. The awkward silence... the weird mood... He's going to tell Finn the truth!

"Marlene..." Skipper gulped. " I love you..."
