During Clark's battle with Bizarro, Reeves Dam was destroyed. Kara's ship was released, and she saved Lex Luthor's life after he nearly drowned. She later adapted to Earth clothing and flew away from the Smallville Water Tower into the sky.

When Kara discovered that Clark and Lois Lane had found her ship, she knocked Lois out and Clark away from it, warning them to stay away from it. Kara then flew into space, with a crystal showing a hologram of baby Kal-El, and started searching for young boys, hoping to find Kal-El, until she was found by him (Clark Kent). When Clark asked what she was doing on Earth, after seeing the House of El symbol on her wristband, Kara told him that she was looking for Kal-El. She was then taken to the Kent Farm, where she was told everything about what has happened. Together, Kara and Clark went in search of the Red Ship, and Clark had to teach Kara how to clear out other sounds around the city to home in on the ship's signal. Once they found the ship, it disappeared, along with the assumed Blue Crystal. Kara was allowed to stay with Clark on the Kent Farm.

Kara flirts with Jimmy.Clark took Kara to the Harvest Festival. While there, Kara took an interest in Jimmy Olsen, and got interested in participating in the Miss Corn Pageant to get Jimmy's attention. Knowing how much Kara wanted to blend in, Clark tried to first teach her how to control her powers. The clash between a reckless Kara and a over careful Clark led to Kara competing in the Pageant. At first shunned by the Pageant Vixens (who had kryptonite induced abilities), Kara joined after they noticed her abilities when she saved Jimmy from freezing to death. Later Kara was coerced into joining the vixens in their plot to find the Smallville Treasure (which happened to contain a Kryptonian object), and was arrested for breaking into the treasure. She saved Clark from the two vixens, proving she has learned to control her abilities. Kara was hired at the Talon and met her boss, Lex, who discovered that she was the one responsible for saving his life. She seemed to have listened to Clark's lectures about fitting in after all, because she denied ever having been near Reeves Dam.

Kara was abruptly confronted by John Jones one morning at the farm, and the animosity between them was revealed. Obviously not fond of John, she sped away, then listened in on the conversation between him and Clark. Realizing that there could be a problem between both her and Clark, she went in search of her crystal. She went to Jimmy, using her feminine charms to help her find her crystal. Kara asked Clark who he was to believe-- family or the "Martian Manhunter". When he didn't answer, Kara flew out into the night. In her absense Chloe maanged to create an aporperiate backstory for the authorities for Kara as a girl raised in an orphange in Minnesota for the past 19 years till she was able to track down her one remaining blood relative Kal-El/Clark.

Usually when I get this excited for an episode, it always blows out of proportion and does a complete 180 on the quality I expect. Smallville has delivered some overwhelming Clois moments and the conflict among Clark, himself and Zod has been well established, but I was still waiting for the other shoe to drop and it kept on strong. The effects were widely attractive, like the action scenes and the consistency with Season 8 Lois.

'Pandora' dealt solely with Lois' missing three weeks of memory and her sudden divulge into the future. I kept channeling my thoughts to the season 8 finale, where...

There would be those moments in classic television history where scenes get so steamy that your mouth waters at the sight of it. 'Idol' had its effects and the eye capturing moments between Lois and Clark would have any Clois fan drooling over the sight of skin and Tom Welling's err Clark's nipple hanging at bay, his chest caressed by Lois...
I guess I'm swaying away with it and anyone would. What sealed that opening scene was Lois falling helplessly into Clark's arms as he caressed her into a kiss.

No wonder Lois got lost in her daydream and even if that moment was happening in her head, it...
