The Order of Wulves- more formally known as Order of the Wolf or Array of the Fiends- has been a recent installment to the Parulian race. Known for their only member thus far they are meant to protect and serve all and any related to the alienated creatures known as the Paru.
The Order was categorized as members in a pack of basic wolves lived. There were Dominants, which were the high classed warriors, and the Recessives, the low classed warriors or servants. There were no in-between ranks.
Wulf Categories:
Order Leader: This was meant for the strongest and wisest of the guild members. Those who could use logic and determine what would be good for the Parulian race or not, and of course with the raw strength to back their decisions, were recruited as apprentices to the former Order Leader. The Order Leader was imagined as cunning, eager, and above all shared a healthy dose of fear and paranoia with their brothers and sisters. This, as the elders reasoned, was a trait necessary when battling enemies.
Order Medical Team: A series of different ranks were to join this Category under the many conditions requesting their service. Mostly for the warriors who were permanently crippled or injured in the line of duty, they were patched up and taught to release the violence they’ve harbored in their lives and pick up the ways of the Healer to aid their kin. Others were those with the wisdom of a warrior, but the strength that couldn’t match. These were also taught the art of healing.
Order Elders: Those retired from any of the Categories from old age are presented here as a whole. Using their combined experience from the years fighting, serving, or healing the Order were to serve their Leader with the best of options.
Order Warriors: Ranging far and wide from magical properties to brute strength, these were meant to be the strongest and wisest solders, second to only their Order Leader.
Order Servants: Meant for one purpose only- to satisfy and please the Order. This was the only Category that allowed other races to join. The rest of the Order was solely those of Wolves or Paru.
Order’s backdrop
The Order was only roughly twenty years old after its new leader was born and thus it’s first member. Due to recent events however the Order lost it’s only leader, thus dropping the other thirty or so future recruits in line. Without their leader the Order grew less popular with the locals that pined for a new change in the Parulian treatment. Much preparation was made for this Order. When the news arrived that their only leader had fallen after birth many of the supporters revolted against the new laws that restricted their rights in effort to create this guild. In the end, the land made for the Order’s base was torn apart and many of the Parulian’s lost their own individual historical documents of their ancestral families encrypted there.
The Order of Wulves was intended to be based on the dimensional portal along Stardinata’s Old City ruins. The ruins held little to no defense for any kind of guild or army, but it did provide close shelter and restricted large numbers passing through to the portal or from it. This would gain it an advantage against invading civilizations trying to dominate the Parulian’s lands.
Why Wulf and not Wolf?
Wulf is a family name- given to those apart of the Order of Wulves. Crystal King Takarodian, sworn leader of the Parulian race and barbarian, had granted the name to all who joined the Order. Named after the barbarian lady: Moone Benson Wulf, the king’s former lover, it was decreed that this order would protect and serve the race with the fierceness of the wolf warrior, regardless if the word was spelled incorrectly.
What will happen to the Order?
For now? It's temporarily put on hold. We're not sure of the Parulian's movements- only the fact that they desperately cling to their civilization and history. They're a dying race. And more than likely other Wulf members are out there, inspired or spawned from the lost First Order Leader. Who is suspected, but why she left at such a young age is to be determined.
