After five months of being at the base and training like he had done before he get sent on a plane to go the Egypt. The plane ride is very long. Takes almost a day to get there.
By the time they get there and get to the base it is already three in the morning. ''Wow. Egypt. I haven't been back here in years. Changed a lot too.''
''Its because of the war smart one,'' Dally with right along with him. ''But don't think your going to be going off trying to find old friends.''
''I know better then that. Besides I didn't live in Egypt long enough to have any real good friends,'' he sets hit bag on the ground next to him.
''You still know your way around Aapep?'' Dally asks opening his bag taking somethings out.
''As long as too much hasn't changed, then yes.''
''Good. Cause I may be making you in charge of some troops when we go around.''
Aldinach walks off to look around a bit while some other solider goes up to Dally. ''Are you seriously going to let him do that? I wouldn't trust him that much. He was forced in. Twice!''
''He knows what will happen if he doesn't. Besides we'll need him he can be of so use. He's Egyptian so we can make him just act like a regular citizen. '' Dally says looking at Aldinach.
The war is still going on four months later. Neither side is looking good. Many troops have been lost in the bloody battle. They have been informed that its even worse in Israel. Aldinach is going around looking for anything suspicious-looking just like a normal citizen. He starts to get shot at from behind.
''Ah!'' he turns around to see the person who shot him running off. Aldinach takes his gun out and holds up and shoots him. The person falls to the ground bleeding heavily from his back. Aldinach walks over to him and kneels down next to the body. ''Huh? This isn't anyone from either side,'' he stands back up and looks around. ''No one else around,'' he looks back down at the guy.
The guy get back up kicking Aldinach in the face. Aldinach stumbles back slightly not expecting it. They both point their gun at each other. Both speak in Arabic. ''You should just save you ammo. It's not going to harm me at all,'' Aldinach says to the man.
''No, but I know something that can,'' he slowly lowers his gun and pulls out a cross, quickly, holding it up to Aldinach. Aldinach quickly back away hissing at him. ''See, the one that so called can't die is scared of a little wooden cross,'' he chuckles and holds it closer to him. Aldinach keeps moving back. He steps back into someone and turns his head to see someone that looks like the other guy that is holding the cross. The man behind him puts him in an arm lock.
Aldinach struggles to get out of his grip. ''Get off me!'' he tries stabbing his tail though the man's stomach but somehow it won't work. The man grabs his tail in a tight grip and starts to pull it. ''Ah! Damn it!''
''Don't fuss now Aldinach. No matter what you do we are going to do the same thing to you as we did to your parents.''
For a slight moment he looks sad from remembering that then growls at them. ''Rabaus. Of the Uciderea de morţi.''
Rabaus smirks at him. ''That's right Aldinach. Remember now. Well we have made a deal with Egypt's and Israel's top ranking troops to find you and kill you like we did to your parents,'' he holds the cross and Aldinach's chest.
Aldinach screams in pain and tries to get out of the guys grip. ''Get off me! Ahh!''
''Shut him up,'' the guy holding Aldinach takes his tail and wraps it around his mouth holding it tight. ''That's better.''
Aldinach growls at them, tries to hide the pain in the growl. Rabaus lifts the cross slowly off from Aldinach's chest. There is a slight cross burn into his chest. He sighs in relief. Rabaus reaches up to Aldinach's face with the cross. His eyes widen and tires getting away again. The guy holds him tighter. The cross is placed on his forehead. He screams once again from the burn. ''Your nothing like your parents, your very weak,'' the presses the cross against him harder. He screams once again, its muffled a bit from his tail.
He eventually gets his tail out of his mouth and bits the mans arm and jams his tail though his throat. Blood gushes out as the man screams in pain; then dies. Aldinach falls to his hands and knees right in front of Rabaus, gasping.
''Come on Aldinach, get up. I know your much stronger then this,'' Aldinach looks up at him, bearing his teeth. ''I also know you hate me, the reasoning I know, so here is your chance now. You gonna get me or what.''
''Put. The cross. Down,'' he says slowly, starting to stand up. ''Then it'll be a fair fight. Its hurt me enough.''
''Not enough to kill you sadly. So. No,'' has a mischievous grin on his face and hits Aldinach hard in the head with it. Aldinach falls back down. Rabaus in the ribs hard. He grunts. He grabs him by his neck. ''You just going to die like this; not do a thing to protect yourself,'' he chuckles. ''Don't believe your letting your parents down like this.''
''!من السماء فوق ضوء تبادل لاطلاق النار على هذا الوحش,'' out of nowhere lighting strikes down hitting Rabaus also effecting Aldinach too. Rabaus screams in pain letting go of Aldinach. He falls to his hands and knees, putting his left hand on his chest where the burn is. ''I'm going to kill you; even if it kills me,'' he grabs Rabaus by the ankles and throws him into the wall next to them.
''Your going to die no matter happens,'' he gets up and kicks him in the head while he his still on the ground. Aldinach growls at him. He gets up. ''Who would have guessed that a simple cross would have hurt you this much.''
He sits up, raises his fist up and slams it into the ground hard causing an earthquake. The earthquake goes all around that part of Egypt. Buildings fall all around. The two tall buildings between them two fall right down on them crushing them both to the ground.
Night falls. ''Cyrys!'' Dally Kilton yells at one of the tents for one of the troops.
A blue and gold wolf like male comes out of the tent. ''Yes Sir.,'' he says standing in front of him.
''Where is Aapep at. He has been gone all day. He hasn't come back from his post from this morning.''
''I don't know Sir., I haven't seen him or heard anything from him from this morning either. Wish me to ask anyone else.''
''No that is all. You may go back to your own business,'' he goes back in side the tent. Dally turns around and starts walking away. ''Aapep better have not tried to run out on me. If he is not here by tomorrow morning then I'll have no other choice.''
As soon at Dally gets to his tent someone shouts his name all the way from the entrance of the base. ''Kilton! Kilton!'' he looks behind him to see one of his troops with Aldinach holding onto him stumbling, moving very slowly. ''We need some help over here!'' they shout again.
Dally rushes over to him. ''Aapep! What happened to you!''
''Uciderea . . . de . . . morţi . . .,'' he keeps fading in and out. ''They tried . . . killing me . . .,'' he clenches onto the solider harder to stand up.
''Come on Aapep,'' Dally takes Aldinach and takes him over to get checked out. Dally noticed the cross burn on his chest. ''Damn it demon!'' he feels the burn. It burned onto his skin deeply.
''Dally, I got hit too hard. We both can tell I'm not making it. I had caused the earthquake this morning and I got trapped under some buildings with the guys that attacked me.''
''Your not dying on me bastard, I know you've been through worst!''
He grabs onto Dally harder trying to get up. ''Kilton . . . unless if this cross burn heals quickly-which it won't- . . . I'm gonna be in pain . . . and it'll kill me.''
Dally makes him lay down on a bed. Aldinach closes his eyes as he does so. ''Don't die on me Aapep! I won't let it happen!'' a bomb goes off in the base. ''Damn it,'' he gets up and starts to leave the tent. ''Stay here Aapep,'' he leave to check on things.
Aldinach tries to get up. Rubs his chest and it burns. ''Ah,'' he looks around. ''Its no use . . .. I'm not living . . . ,'' he faints.
A few hours later Dally comes back to the tent forgetting that Aldinach is still in there. ''Aapep!'' goes over to him. ''Aapep! Wake up!'' he starts to shake him. ''Aapep! Damn it man!'' stop shaking him. ''Aldinach . . .,'' his head slightly falls and sighs. Sets him down and goes outside. He goes to one of the troops in his ranking. ''Cyrys. Aapep got back,'' there is a very slight tone of sadness in his voice.
''Is something wrong with him. Did something happen?'' he asks.
''He's dead. Aapep, Aldinach is dead.''
''What? Kilton; what happened to him? How could he have died?''
''Someone called, Uciderea de morţi I think he said. I believe they are undead killers from Rome. While he was on patrol they attacked him and then got stuck under some buildings from the earthquake. He got hit really hard.''
''Aapep was a good man inside. You just had to bring it out of him. He may not have liked this country but he did a damn good job fighting for it.''
''And none of us will forget about that. Its just sad that he had to be forced into this. Oh well. In a few months I will send a letter to his family saying what had happened.''
''That is the family we had to make a deal with wasn't it?'' Dally nods. ''Wonder how they will take it. They were killers after all.''
''We'll see how it goes,'' Dally goes back into the tent looking at Aldinach's cold dead motionless body. ''For some reason I'm going to miss that demon. I have no reason to, but for some reason I do,'' he fades off just looking at his body.
By the time they get there and get to the base it is already three in the morning. ''Wow. Egypt. I haven't been back here in years. Changed a lot too.''
