(Note: I wrote this on the fly, and on Windows Movie Maker, but the stupid text kept messing up so I couldn't make it a video)

So from what I've seen, of the
many fan-based franchises, the
largest, or one of the largest
(please don't hurt me if I'm
wrong) is the Sonic the
hedgehog Fan Character
franchises.
On the site I'm usually on,
Fanpop, the Sonic Fan
Character club is HUGE, and
has tons of great fan
characters...

... so I just can't help but wish
there'd be someone out there
who is a devoted Sonic fan and
can make QUALITY videos, who
could make videos FOR the fan
characters.
Now I know there are videos
around talking about people's
fan-characters, and usually their
own, but lets face it, they're
usually one of the vids you
watch when you do a random
search out of COMPLETE
BOREDOM!

So why not have someone
who's a sonic fan, like
(emphises on LIKE, as not to
imply I'm asking these people
to do it) Somecallmejonny, or
MegaGwolf (Sorry Gligar...
mostly) make the vids?

What would make them
interesting


1. NO RECOLORS
Why: While the character may
be interesting and awesome,
recolors (let's face it) just don't
look cool. It lacks originality,
and unless you have a new pic
of your character NOT as a
recolor, it usually drives people
AWAY.

2. Talk about the uniqueness of
the character's
A. Appearence
B. Story (in general and in
fanfiction)
C. Personality
D. Powers (or skills, or lack there
of)
E. Their roll
3. Talk about the fanfiction that
they are in, and where you
found this character.
Why: To get people interested.
There are a lot of great
fanfictions (of which I have seen
for myself) but a lot of people
ignore this because of how
overdone each one is, but
mostly out of procastination
(laziness... ... Did I spell that
wrong?) They want their fanfics
to be read, but people just don't
give any cares, so if the writers
were to get some links about
them, maybe some pics, and
such, they might be able to get
some more readers and views.

4. Reviews
Now I know this sounds like
everything I just said, but hear
me out. When I say review, I'm
referring to actually discussing
the prose and cons, of the
character(s)/and/or/fanfics, as
well as comparing them to other
fanfics written by the person.

5. Top Tens
Why: PEOPLE LOVE TOP TENS!
Need help? Look up the top
tens for any video game and
you'll get topics like
"Most annoying"
"Best ending (to a fanfic in this
case)"
"Best character (all around)"
"Best Females"
"Best Males"
"Best gun-men/women"
And then you can do ones like
"GARY-STUES, MARY SUES"
"Original"
"Cannon based"
And even "Best story that
involved CANNON characters
(cannon characters being official
characters for those that might
not know)"

There are a lot of fanfics about
EVERYTHING out there, and a lot
of them are probably really
good. But for what?

I don't know how things work on
fanfiction.net that well yet, and I
guess I AM a little bit hermity
when it comes to the rest of the
internet, but I think that good
writers aren't getting their stuff
read, even if they're great. And
they aren't getting their
characters noticed, no matter
how much work is placed into
them.

Some people would probably
say "WHY DON'T YOU DO IT,
TAK?"
and the reason I say no is shown
by the following.
1. I don't think I'd be a good
judge, though that might be me
just hating on myself.
2. I don't have the right
programs to make quality
videos.
3. It would get too busy. When I
say someone should do it, I
mean someone who actually
wants to dedicate their youtube
to that, and make THAT the
reason they're popular. Also
people who have their own
fanfics already might have a
favoritism tendency, so that's
another reason for ya.


If things don't turn out right, I
might end up trying to do it, but
I doubt it, and even if I do, can't
say I didn't warn you. Anyway, I just hope that
someone reads this and that they
can start their vids.

Last listing thing I promise.

When the person starts, make
sure to ask people what they
want, and what they can improve
on in the vids.
Like
1. people don't want weird voices
and/or bad recorders, so if you're
going to do it and have a voice
that might seem a bit off, not
saying don't go for it, but try to
make it sound and hearable as
you can. (note: I'm not saying
you have a bad voice, I'm saying
if the majority of people think
you do, then maybe it's just not
that good of an idea.)
2. Of course CGI and all that.
3. Be able to make a vid around
the time-span of once a week to
twice a month if possible.


Okay, that's it... I think.

So I hope someone gets this
idea, and I hope to start seeing
this happen in the future.
