-Flare woke up the next morning smelling waffles. She got up carefully and walked drowsily into the kitchen. Nat was at the stove making chocolate chip waffles.-
Nat: Well looks who's awake!
Flare: ...Where's mom?
Nat: She went to check up on the restaurant. She was nervous ever since the jewelry store break in. Grab a plate and I'll get you a chocolate chip waffle.
- Flare walked over to the cabinets and pulled out a plate. She gave it to Nat.-
Flare: I don't know why she's worried. That new hero is here and will make sure everything's alright.
Nat: I'm a bit paranoid myself. It was just one robbery, but it could've been us. You and your friends could've been in danger. Speaking about your friends, Are you going to wake them up?
Flare: No, not right now. What time is it now?
Nat: 10:30.
Flare: They get mad when I wake them up too early, but then get upset when I wake them up too late. I'll wake them up when it gets about 11.
-Nat flopped a heart-shaped pancake onto Flare's plate. Then Crystal walked in.-
Crystal: I smell waffles. Nat are you cooking?
Nat: Yeah and Flare woke up when you were gone.
Crystal: Ah, there's our sleeping beauty. Get a good nights rest?
Flare: yep.
- There was some noise in the bedroom and Oliver and Nikki walked out.-
Nikki: Flare, why didn't you wake us?
Flare: I just woke up myself. Grab a plate and have a chocolate chip waffle.
Oliver: Nat makes the best chocolate chip waffles ever!
Nat: Mom, you want anything?
Crystal: You know I don't eat breakfast. I'll just get a cup of coffee.
-After everyone was done eating, they got ready for some shopping throughout town.-
Crystal: Everyone ready? Got your water bottles filled?
Flare: We're good!
Nat: Mine's filled.
Crystal: Then let's go!
-They walked around and looked through some stores and bought some stuff.-
Nikki: That's a really cute doll Flare.
Flare: Thanks! It will look great next to my other toys!
Then they heard a ruckus from up ahead. Someone was running down the street.-
Stranger: Catch him! He's got my purse!
-As the person runs by, he grabs Crystal's purse, but grabs Flare's toy by accident too.-
Scar: I'll take this! heh hehe!!
Crystal: My purse!
Flare: My doll! No!
Nat: Hey! Get back here! Who do you think you are, stealing a little girls doll?!
-Nat grabs his tail and he yelps.-
Scar: Why you little...You'll pay for that fox girl!
???: No she won't!
-A green echidna wearing a flower in her hair drops down and kicks Scar in the face. She jumps back and lands in front of Nat.-
Scar: Ow...R-Rose! I gotta get out of here!
Rose: Not until you give back what you stole!
-Rose raises her hands and giant vines grow from the ground and surround Scar.-
Scar: Oh no I'm trapped!
Rose: Give back the bags Scar. Or else this little cage will get smaller and smaller.
-Rose moves her hands closer together and the cage got smaller.-
Scar: Ok! Ok! Have your stupid bags! I didn't even mean to steal the doll...
-Scar drops the bags through the vine bars.-
Scar: Now are you going to let me go?
Rose: Nope you still have to pay your crime. I'll just wait til the police gets here.
Scar: No don't!!!...mmmff!!
-Rose shoves a vine in Scars mouth. she picks up the bags and doll and brought them back to Crystal and Flare and the Stranger.-
Crystal: Thank you so much! How can we ever repair you?
Rose: It's alright, just keeping this place safe.
Flare: You're the one on the T.V. last night! The one that stopped the bad guys!
Rose: Yep, that was me. It's my job to keep everyone safe.
Oliver: You're the coolest! Thanks so much!
Nikki: Rose! Scar is getting away!
-Rose turns around and Scar chewed his way through the vines and was running down the street. He stopped at a manhole and slipped under it.-
Rose: He's always escaping. Nothing I can't handle. Better clean up my mess.
-Rose snaps her fingers and the vines dissolve and fix the cracks in the road and sidewalk.-
Nat: Woah...
Rose: I know right? It's my power. I can grow stuff and destroy it just as fast as I create it. The plants I make turns into this weird paste that fixes anything it touches.
Nikki That's so cool!
Crystal: Thank you so much for your help.
Rose: No Problem. I got to go. See ya later hopefully!
-Rose jumps on the roof of the nearest store and runs off.-
Flare: I hope we meet her again!
Nat: Me too.
Crystal: Come on, we still have a long ways to go.
Flare and Nat: Coming!
